**Saturday Tipping Competition - May 28th**

Apologies i'm late posting this up today, only just got back from a 'whirlwind tour of the South Coast'......
This weeks Saturday Tipping Competition will remain with the same as the last couple of weeks, everyone starts with a 'Betting Bank' of 100 Points, you have to make just FIVE selections and can put however much you want on each selection, win or each way, but you must invest your full 100 Points. Your selections must be made from this Saturdays nominated meetings which are NEWMARKET and HAYDOCK. ONE of your selections must be made in the weekends 'Feature Handicap Race', the Scoop 6 Bonus Race - 3:25 @ NEWMARKET. The winner will be the person with the most points at the end of the day, with all investments being settled to bookmakers standard terms. Below are all the details you'll need -


THE MEETINGS TO MAKE YOUR SELECTION FROM

Haydock - 2.05 to 5.20 (7 Races)
Newmarket - 2.20 to 5.45 (7 Races)

THE RULES

You Have 100 'Betting Points' To Invest
You Must Make FIVE SELECTIONS From The Nominated Meetings
One Selection Must Be In The Feature Race - 3.25 @ NEWMARKET
You Must Nominate Your 'Stake' On Each Selection - There is no minimum stake amount.
Your Selections Can Be Win or Each Way
Any Non Runners - Your Stake Will Go Onto The Favourite (Unless changed before the first race)
All Returns Will Be Settled At Standard Bookmakers Terms
The Winner Will Be The Person With The Most Points At The End Of The Day

Last week, Steveo77 came out on top with a massive points total, followed by Racingnut. This weeks cards look just as competitive although the fields are a little smaller so hopefully points will be easier to come by.

An interesting days racing at the principal meetings from Haydock & Newmarket. The opening two races at HQ were somewhat 'stolen' by a couple of excellent rides from the enigmatic Mickael Barzalona who worked out where the best ground was, providing a couple of hard to find winners. Over at Haydock, the meeting started with a couple of Jamie Spencer winners, later followed up with a double by Tom Quealy, with the first of those winners being crucial in providing this weeks tipping champion. The Cheka was selected by Reebok Rules, who also benefitted from our Non Runner ruling, giving a superb winning total of 205 pts. Congratulations to Reebok Rules, a cracking points total.

Incidentally - "non runner rule" this means I had a non-runner somewhere I assume - first I knew of it, which means my bookie owes me more than I thought! Was it Zuider Zee? I was late in switching the racing on and they had just started - he was never mentioned, but didn't get flagged as a non-runner ......

I am also in the lead in Degsy's 606/Daily Racing Proboards compo on the last day today

Lol.......I've missed the Derby on more than a few occassions......would like to have seen it this year tho'.

I'm also missing the final of the French Open at Roland Garros....not a good time for me to be away from the forum

I've actually got the chance to watch some tennis today but the Sky hasn't been working till 5 minutes ago so I've only just got the match on ( it's on BBC red button).

He is doing well......not his best surface, Clay, either.
