Thompson, Arreola victorious
In an IBF heavyweight eliminator, IBF #7 Tony “The Tiger” Thompson (36-2, 24 KOs) scored a third round TKO over IBF #6 Maurice “Sugar Mo” Harris (24-15-2, 10 KOs) on Friday night at the Reno Events Center in Reno, Nevada. With the win, Thompson earned the IBF’s #2 rating and will face Eddie Chambers for the #1 spot and ultimate title shot.

Re: FNF Card Report *Spoilers*: Arreola, Thompson
Not watched this yet but no real surprises by the look of it. Arreola rankings amongst the different organisations is unreal. How can the WBC have him at #2? The WBO and WBA have him at #13 and #15 respectively which is a joke the IBF are about right with #5. He might not be anything special but he is a top 10 heavyweight not as high as 2 though.

Re: FNF Card Report *Spoilers*: Arreola, Thompson
Time for Arreola to step up now,he's been facing bums recently and if he's going to get back into title contention he'll have to take a risky or at least challenging fight.
Can't see Tony Thompson winning a world title hasn't got a chance against the likes of Klitchskos,Haye and Adamek.
I'll be interested to see the development of Javier Molina not really tested so far though.

I've just watched this and I'm not sure that Arreola should be stepping up right away. He should keep doing what he's doing fighting regularly staying in the gym and getting his weight down a bit more. He looked quicker, worked harder and never looked like he had lost any power.
I would like to see him lose another 12-16 lbs bring him down to about 220 lbs.
