Supporting clash on a PPV undercard featuring Evander Holyfield back in the day..............Looked like a belter !!....Christy Martin the six time World champion in a mouth watering clash with Bethany Page who had an impressive record of 15 - 1.........

The Coal miner's daughter was commanding purses of $100,000 plus with her winning personality, talent and exciting style..........

However after 2 minutes of pathetic slaughter it turned out that what 1 million plus PPv subscribers and a packed house at the MGM saw was a farce of epic proportions........

In fact Page was a struggling prostitute looking for some quick money or let's say her pimp was !!.............(Martin received $75,000 Page $6,000)...

The record was false, she'd never fought in a sanctioned bout and apparently she'd had less than two weeks of boxing training..........Apparently she'd been pulled off Atlanta's streets by a guy called Mezaugn Kemp her "trainer"...........

I'd go for the fight between a male and female with the female winning and they male being about four weight divisions below her. Can't even be bothered to find out the names of the parties involved but someone thought it was a good idea to sanction the fight and give validation to the opinion that men and women should be allowed to compete equally in boxing.

I looked forward to seeing Lennox Lewis punch the f*ck out of Roseanne Barr but no joy

Just watched it (it was Bethany Payne not Page).

For someone with two weeks training, she looked promising! She caught Martin a fair few times. And Payge had some chin on her. She took a load of clean shots and stayed on her feet. 

The end was strange - she was knocked out but on her feet!

Not as bad as I thought it was going to be from your right up but still fairly low.

That does sound like a pretty low moment in boxing, lets hope we don't get anything lower!

The woman that beat the man may have been Lucia Rijker who appeared in Million Dollar Baby, she ends Hilary Swanks characters career in the film, and is now a boxing trainer.

Oddly enough I watched Lucia Rijker get knocked out by a man yesterday. Muay Thai fight I think.

I believe that even as a teenager Katie Taylor beat up a few policemen in sparring.

What a film Million dollar baby was. Bleak but brilliant.

The guy who knocked out his opponent after the fight was well and truly over and murdered Max Kellerman's brother was a bit evil.
