We'll take the 5 points. Should have gone to bed after the first 40.

Come at a cost though - injuries to Horne, Lamont and Kellock.

Re: Glasgow Warriors v Zebre, 6 March
watched the game late last night. All over and done with by half time. 5 points is 5 points but took a few knocks, Lamont looked particularly worrying, that could be his season and potentially WC over. I am not convinced he should be in the squad anyway, but don't want to see him left out on the basis of an injury either. I would rather the other wingers played better than him!
The youngsters got some more game time in the second half and there was some interesting scrummaging at the end. Allen and Fargerson more than held their own.

Agree with the Gee, it would be a rotten way for Schlong to go out. On the plus side: the Pixie looked good, the youngsters all got game time and looked capable, Braid did well, Furra Linee was looking good until he went off (not so effective after that).
I get the feeling that Henners will be back for the Ladyboys.
But no Schlong, Hornee or Maits for Twickers.

If it is a serious injury for Lamont it might just end his career.
Hope not - he deserves a better send off than going off on a stretcher against zebre in the rain

Matawalu was not man of the match - ludicrous decision. IMHO it was Kevin Bryce. Conditions dreadful in 2 nd 40 and Zebre seemed to adapt far better. That and the replacements and stream of cards spoiled the game completely. Coul d I suggest to the referee if he cannot see the screen from the West end of the pitch then he should seriously take up their sponsors offer and consider a career change !

Defo thought Bryce was MOTM. He was everywhere and scored a cracker. Carried well too. Think Brown and him could be the future for the Scotland hooker position.
To my shame I left at about 60 mins. It was clear that the scoring was finished by then. Schlong to inside centre game over. Connor Braid impressed but not as much as Horne. He was looking back to his best before his bell was rung. Managed to slot the conversion even though he must have been seeing three sets of posts.
