I heard from elsewhere Clancy is from Munster, so there is no risk of any bias.

But seriously though... why on earth would a Munster man want Leinster to win?
The race for the playoffs is so tight I think Munster and Ulster will be quietly delighted should Scarlets trip up Leinster.

I just want it on record that when Clancy screws the Scarlets its purely down to him being rubbish

Re: Scarlets v Leinster
How the fu*k Clancy still officiates are Pro12/international level bemuses me.
The overall level of officiating in the Pro12 is definitely the worst compared to Aviva, Top 14 and Super Rugby.
Clancy is up there with the worst, the Italian ref isn't consistent and he looks scared half the time, Leighton Hodges is too strict and slows the game down and the bald Irish one is also infuriating to watch because of his lack of consistency in calls.
The only think that could make it worse is if Romain Poite was also in the mix.

A brown envelope from the IRFU?

I think that's a bit far fetched.
But there's definitely a bias in some officials. Take the TMO for the Ulster v Scar game. He's been a rugby man all his life. In Ulster. Loves the game, presumably loves Ulster rugby, yet he's there making key decisions in a game involving them. Why? There shouldn't be the possibility for idiots like me to even suggest that he would not be impartial.
Remove all doubt.
Clancy employed by the same people as the players he's refereeing tomorrow. Why?
Remove all doubt.

It is a joke that Rob Evans hasn't been released for this one. Leinster are getting their 2 benching props from last week..

That's the real problem with the Regions, whilst the IRFU will try their best to assist the Provinces, (as the case should be), the WRU still don't give a damn about the fortunes of the Regions as long as the Academies keep on turning out a growing player pool. With luck this will change at the end of this year as Gatland will walk away with as big a pay off as Dodgers Lewis.

Re: Scarlets v Leinster
I was miffed Rob wasn't released the last few weekends, as he wasn't involved in the welsh squad at all. But I vpcan see why he is kept back this time as he will be benching against Ireland. Personally I would have released him as I think he needs a bit of game time.

Re: Scarlets v Leinster
That's a strong looking Leinster pack which is where they might get the edge but that back line won't score tries if there was a 5 on one blind folded set of 5year olds in defence. I know the ospreys are having a good season but Leinster in that game were totally bereft of any attacking imagination at all. In years gone by this would have been one of the highlights off the season with two fantastic back lines. Think o'Connor has beat imagination out of Leinster. Going for a home win on this one if past performance is any indicator.

I feel dirty wanting a Welsh team to beat an Irish one, but Leinster losing and Ulster picking up a win tomorrow would be pretty helpful for our playoff hopes...

Scarlets 7 clear with 10 mins to go and looking good value for it.
What a favour Scarlets will be doing us if they take down Leinster.

Priestland missed a great inside pass to James Davies which could have been a cracking try.

Stop them getting a LBP for extra credit... then we need to do the business at Dave Parade.

Why are the Scarlets fans not turning up to watch this team? They play a great brand of rugby and have some good players coming through.
A couple of good signings and the Scarlets will be flying.

Llanelli isn't a very big city but they should definitely be getting 8k + on a regular basis.
They have already signed DTH for next season.

blimey 3 out of 4. what price a dragons win tomorrow for an unlikely whitewash? Has that ever happened before for the welsh teams in the same weekend?

Bzzzzzzzt! Wrong
Scarlets played 8, won 6 and drawn 2
Ulster played 8 and won 8
It looks like its down to Ulster to restore some pride for the provinces against the Dragons... if you want something done right!

Tomorrow at Dave Parade in that case. I still think that you'd better win.

Cub Davies is in great form this season. At the moment it's hard to tell whether he's a future Wales player or just a very good, consistent club player - Wales needs more of the latter IMO. Either way, he's still behind Navidi for me who's non-inclusion in team Wales baffles even me.

Fixed that for you
When I went to Scarlets v Drags a few years ago, there was a fair bit of bad feeling towards Scarlets from those from Llanelli town.

Glad Scarlets didn't end up losing to a Te'o try. Wouldn't have been too chuffed if it was against my team.

Dragons had a season a few years back where we won something like all but 1 home games and lost all away games! Talk about Jekyll and Hyde!

Yes, that something was the game we won which put you lot in the Parker Pen Cup. Best day of my life.

And that's just after 1 weekend of bad decisions for the Irish teams.
Imagine having to suffer them every week for years.
The Scarlets were terrific last night. All the talk is of how poor Leinster were. But credit has to go to the team who more or less played them off the park. I thought Clancy was his usual terrible self.
