Re: Dragons Vs. Ulster
I've always been a fan of Stringer. That's my sort of scrum half. Tiny in stature but big in confidence and heart. Sniping, quick to pass, good dummy and step - lovely stuff. As you can imagine I'm not the biggest fan of Mike Phillips, even though he has his moments...

That's just a scurrilous rumour put out by Nigel Wray to Savilise the good name of Stringer!
It was an innocent ice-cream between two wafers - it wasn't a 99!

Re: Dragons Vs. Ulster
Actually Ulster signing him would be a great idea especially during a world cup year when Pienaar will be gone for a long period
Re: Dragons Vs. Ulster
Having seen the Henderson thing on tv, it is nothing and was rightly just a penalty. He does just push him with his hands, which wasn't at all apparent in the ground at the time.
Was great seeing Amos palm off Pienaar again too.

Amos is a talent which is why (iirc) he is on one of Gatlands contracts isn't he? Others will know a lot more than me but I saw him charged down against Connacht so if he eliminates mistakes like that there is no reason he cant wear red soon enough

Re: Dragons Vs. Ulster
He has been charged down four times this season (twice in one game v Newcastle). His trouble is/was he will always look to kick off his favoured left foot, when obviously sometimes it isn't on. I did notice (watching back) him appear to be going for a kick off his left foot in the second half, then just stepping the ginger winger instead.

Re: Dragons Vs. Ulster
yes that is the concern with him at the moment - his kicking game is not quite good enough for int level yet. A very exciting prospect thought

Cuthbert and North can't kick for toffee and it hasn't stopped them being selected. But he does need to work on that aspect of his game. It's not so much kicking when it's not on, more that he's getting his trajectory wrong. The one against Connacht was straight at the man.
