Linares is defo a step up in level for Mitch. A win should make some noise inthe division and it should be viewed as ANOTHER chance for Kevin. Linares is a cute fighter tho but Kev has the power to trouble him.

Similar fighters really. Both with natural talent, but nether are robust enough for the top guys. Makes one breaks one...

Depends what you mean by hand it to him onetwo... If you mean 'wear linares' hands out on his face' then yes he handed it to him.

That fight sums linares up... Completely outclassed demarco, but couldn't put him away. Eventually his frailty caught up with him. Jbw is right that linares and Mitchell are similar fighters... Good boxers, questionable durability. The thing is, unless those defeats have finished him (I haven't seen him recently) linares is a better version of Mitchell.

He's not a puncher though, so if Mitchell hangs in, it only takes one punch to turn it around. If linares is half the fighter he was, Mitchell can't win this on points in my view .

I think Linares has the better ability here, but both are prone to not be able to take a good shot but can give one. Linares is not the weakest holder (Micky Bey) but Kev probs wont get another opportunity.

Linares reminds me of Tommy Hearns in the latter part of his career minus the big right hand. Classy boxer who seems very frail indeed. Mitchell I know is not made of stone but seems a little more solid of the 2. I see quiet couple of rounds with to start the fight with a slight edge to Linares but I see Kevin eventually to start connecting around the 4th and won't take too long to chop Jorge down from that point. 7th round TKO for me in Kevin's favour

Linares has problems with cuts, still can't believe he got bombed by Sergio Thompson many moons ago...

Yea two very similar fighters, both talented fighter who are fragile, linares is the more talented but also the more fragile

Gotta go with linares but hoping mitchell can do it
