How did Ryback end up in a #1 contender's match? I guess i'll have to watch 30 minutes of dialogue to try to get to the bottom of that.

Seems pretty straightforward to me. Should be between Orton and Reigns, but WWE probably didn't want to give that match away willy nilly, so include Ryback and also have Ryback take the pin to keep Reigns from looking weak.

I'm sure that is why. But why Ryback? I can't think of a reason he'd have a stronger claim to be in the #1 contender battle than anyone else on the roster.
I get why WWE has done it. But it just doesn't seem to make sense.

I can only think of maybe Ziggler who wasn't otherwise busy who goes ahead of Ryback.
Bryan - IC Title
Cena - US Title
Ambrose - "injured"

If it was TNA, I could understand why it would surprise you
Re: WWE Raw Results - Spoilers ahead
I'm going to try not to overthink this any more than I seem to have already
But I could say that Big Show just won the Battle Royal. Luke Harper gets jobbed out, but he's held a title more recently than Ryback. Just felt a bit like, who's an upper mid-carder we can throw into this who can lose... oh Ryback's around no need for any other explanation, get out there big man.

Re: WWE Raw Results - Spoilers ahead
No one want to mention how huge it is for Adrian Neville to go one on one with the WWE Champion? And it wasnt a complete squash? He got a great reaction from the crowd and the commentators really helped put him over. Seems the WWE are quite keen on him. Hopefully he doesnt go the way of Bo Dallas.
Lucha Dragons got another really good reaction. So happy to see the NXT guys getting over with the crowd.
Other than that, it was a decently enjoyable RAW. Nothing stands out as being particularly bad about it, but nothing is making feel like going back and watching it again.
From what I can gather Extreme Rules is looking like being:
Randy Orton vs Seth Rollins
Cena vs Rusev
Ambrose vs Luke Harper
Nikki Bella vs whatever random diva wins the Battle Royal next week.
Bryan vs a combination of Ziggler/Barrett/Sheamus
Cesaro and Kidd vs hopefully the Dragons
Reigns vs Big Show

Re: WWE Raw Results - Spoilers ahead
I'd be inclined to think Kane will be dawning the mask again very soon, if he gets fired I'd expect to see him appear again with the mystical aura to extract revenge on The Authority, possibly a feud for Bray Wyatt in the pipeline
Wasn't surprised to see Ryback in the Main Event, I've felt over recent weeks that they've really tried to build him up again, I wouldn't say rebuild him as I'm pretty confident he'll never get a proper run but when they need an arch then he'll be the type of guy they'll believe they can build up quickly to take a hit for a PPV set-up.
Thought RAW was boring this week, there was a few subtle story enhancements but nothing that was remotely interesting for me
Quite enjoyed Sheamus' promo, doubt I'll ever really enjoy him but it was decent, my main gripe with it would be that he is basically using the same material Batista used last year with his "where have all the real men gone" schtick

Very much a post-Mania Raw I think, everything feels a little flat but I am enjoying new emphasis on the mid-card titles but thought the show missed Daniel Bryan.
Just not really excited for a Rollins/Orton feud at all. I can like Rollins, I think he can be good, but Orton for me just sucks excitement out of anything he's involved in. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed one of his promos or a match he had without Daniel Bryan.

Orton shouldn't speak at all, if he didn't speak he would be infinitely better - I can't stand the way he has to go through his promos step by step, less is more - His matches are excellent though, he does everything well, some think he's too slick at times and I can understand that to be fair but inside the ring, be it against Rollins, Bryan, Ziggler, Big Show or Ryback his timing is just sublime

I agree (mostly) with both Crimey and Kay Fabe re: Orton.
One of his problems now is that they made him face. And there is no difference between heel Orton and face Orton. His personality (the quiet viper) suits a heel. He just doesn't have the charisma to pull off face.

Re: WWE Raw Results - Spoilers ahead
The problem with Orton is he's done everything he can do as a heel. We've had cocky new comer, we've had manipulative psycho, we've had cold calculating assassin, we've had sniveling corporate sell out, we've had mercenary for hire.
He isnt charismatic enough to be a really good face. He cant hold a crowd in his hand like all the good faces can.
His work rate is second to none, and his in ring ability is really under-rated in most peoples minds, so I agree with Kay Fabe, he just needs to stay mostly quiet and he'll be fine.

Re: WWE Raw Results - Spoilers ahead
We will see where WWE take this feud going into the next PPV.
But, I think even though Rollins is a really excellent heel, he's so good in the ring that it will become difficult for fans not to start to get behind him. Even when he's doing all those JR heel things of dodging matches, having J&J interfere, getting wins by cheating, it could soon become difficult to not have fans cheer when he wins. I kind of feel you really need a good face to make sure that the heel is booed then, because the fans wanted the other guy to win so badly. I'm really not sure that Orton can carry that.

Re: WWE Raw Results - Spoilers ahead
Thought it was just a standard Raw, nothing to moan about nothing to get overly excited about.
Sensible booking in the main event. Mid cards continue to intrest me. Lucha Dragons and Nevile both awesome.
Only thing I was suprised about, the lack of talk about Brock Lesnar and Micheal cole not being there etc.
