CONGRATULATIONS ANDY!
First of all, may you find long-lasting happiness with Kim in this matrimony.
Secondly, after your BIG DAY, if/when your spirit regain calm, I was wondering if you will show us that same magic again? Yes, the magic that enabled you to win Wimbledon, Olympic Gold and US Open. Of late, I can see that post-surgery issues have really set you back. But at the same time you've admirably climbed back from the bottom of top 10 to be the current #3. Still I miss the Andy Murray who wrestled the USO trophy from Djokovic in recent memory.
The tennis battlefield awaits your return. Never mind oldies Federer and Nadal, how exciting it'd be to see you still can pull out the magic to vanquish the #1, purely for the viewing pleasure of your game going up a notch since Miami.
Btw, if I recall correctly, when news of his wedding first broke, it was originally planned to take place in Oct. later this year. Anyone knows why has it been moved up half a year? Just curious.

Wimbledon might be a reason to move it up, when better to do it than the clay season. Could just be a preference. Whatever though heres to many happy years of marriage to the two of them

Blue Moon, I'd say this date was chosen as weather would be better and also Murray has no points to defend from Monte Carlo either so he can miss that without any ranking points losses whereas October (weather will probably be worse) plus he will have stacks of points to defend around that time as well so it all makes sense.

Re: CONGRATULATIONS ANDY!
"One woman appeared to lose control of her umbrella as the weather took a turn for the worst in Dunblane today shortly before the ceremony." Can you believe that, pouring rain first thing this morning! Sign, I guess you just can't upstage the British weather.
Thanks, CC, in any event, I bet he's glad to avoid MC. He's been quite frank that he doesn't like playing on clay. A bit strange that he trained in Spain but have not much use for clay tennis. Remember, he had no qualm announcing "I will never win the French Open."

Re: CONGRATULATIONS ANDY!
Hmm not sure I am sure he loves all the glamour of Monte Carlo but as he has no points to defend its a good time for the wedding. He will now start his clay court season at Munich at an ATP250 tournament so it should offer his best ever chance of winning a clay court title.

Re: CONGRATULATIONS ANDY!
Isn't Monte Carlo the slowest of the main clay events? I'm sure it was discussed a few years back
If so even less reason for Murray to be bothered about this
And congratulations to the lovely couple, just make sure you give Kim a late wedding present (steady!!) i.e. another Wimbledon slam

Re: CONGRATULATIONS ANDY!
I don't think Murray's problem is that Monte Carlo is slow... His problem I'd that's it's on clay
on a different note, well done and congratulations to Muzza. The middle overs of life have truly begun

Many congratulations to Andy & Kim, and best wishes for many happy years ahead, personally & professionally.
Jahu - I've been anxious to avoid saying it hitherto, but have concluded that there is no more diplomatic way to put this : You really are quite weird .......
(then again, I guess you yourself already knew that)

Congratulations to Murray and Sears (Kim)!
I wonder when Nadal (currently ATP#5) will follow suit to make the recent Top 4 being married.
Very rare occasion to have recent World Top 4 all being married.

Re: CONGRATULATIONS ANDY!
My personal opinion is that he wont whilst he is playing,
If you look at the current crop of Spanish players they are the most eligible bachelors on tour. . Carlos Moya stayed single all his career. I think Toni Nadal himself only married (if indeed he is ) in recent years. I might be doing the man a disservice but I don't think Toni would approve. However I could be proven wrong
My personal observation of the Spaniards is they are family dedicated and its all or nothing.
