First topic message reminder :

Read an awful article on top 50 managers under 50. Katanga higher than Howe and Dyche, to name just two.

Yep fancy Bournemouth and Norwich, and both have far superior goal difference to us, relying on defence and not scoring enough goals has caught up with us in the end. We should have brought a striker in instead of 2 defenders I'm afraid, Kike's had a poor season after the early promise.

Most of Middlesbrough attackers have been poor. The only one I think has done well is Bamford this season really. Kike has been decent at the start of the season but has tailed off. Middlesbrough problem was at the start of the season, you even lost to us at home 1-0 Laugh that's as bad as it gets I'm afraid really. Adomah is a good player, but I don't think he has been that good this season and that goes for Tomlin as well.

Ok and West Ham had PL calibre players when they went up. Vaz Te had a good season in the Championship but never moved into the Premier League because he wasn't good enough for Premier League level, that's why he rarely plays anymore. The likes of Tomkins, Reid, Nolan, Noble etc who are Premier League quality players were in your squad that season. You still had a poor season finishing 3rd but quality took you up and that's why you stayed up. We had Championship players and we bought Championship players, that is why we went down. You didn't do that.

Adomah and Tomlin are very hit and miss this season, as for getting beat by your lot your manager should have filled the Lottery in that night. The Riverside has been a hard place for anyone to pick up points, fortress of late. But we needed a bloody striker in January.

Ricardo Vaz Te gets less and less games for us considering he doesn't play for us any more.

I think it was reasonably clear in the league that ourselves and Southampton were the better sides. I think it was shown when we both stayed up comfortably.

Getting promoted and staying in the PL require 2 different mindsets and generally different players.

The point is saying a team signed PL quality players is a very redundant and pointless thing to say. Nobody signs players assuming theyll be crap.

Maybe the reason for that is they both had Premier League quality players whereas we were the best team in the Championship that season because of our consistency, hence why we finished top and won the league.

And what are you suggesting by that? What just because they are not in the Premier League they are not Premier League quality players is that what your saying?

Southampton and West Ham had the quality to stay in the Premier League because their players were Premier League quality whereas we didn't have Premier League players and we were never Premier League quality, hence why we went down. Not difficult.

Was a bad tackle on him, but he shouldn't have reacted like that.
Smith did milk it though.

Hard as nails Hutts, dirty player though.

Onto the game. Thought we played well for 70 minutes and then fell apart when our best player Kayal came off. Fantastic free kick but both goals were easily avoidable. Just want this awful season to come to an end, the standard is dire and were awful.

In other news, Bourenmouth have taken over from wigan as worst support seen at the AMEX. 1,500 fans from an allocation for 2,800 when you're top of the league and it's you're nearest away game. Also sitting in silence for most ofbthe game, baffles the mind. No bouncing around, no singing, no nothing!
