I love these "best sides" series, it's always great fun to put your side out and debate with others. Here's mine
Smith
Watson
Ponting
Kallis
Taylor
De Villiers
Haddin (wk)
Vettori (capt)
Johnson
Steyn
Morkel
there you go, bats down to n°9, plenty of variety in the attack: Steyn - swing and pace: Morkel - pace and bounce: Johnson - the left-armer. Plus Kallis Watson and at a pinch Smith can roll their arms over if required. I have all three captains in there, but IMO Vettori is the most tactically astute of the three.
Gone with a three seamer, one spinner attack as it's a southern hemisphere XI so they're not many places in the southern hemisphere where you'd play two spinners. I guess with Watson and Kallis in there you could maybe pik another spinner, in which case probably Tahir or Hauritz for Johnson.

well thought out mfc, although you done better than bat to 9, steyn and morkel are very capable with the bat, i would say ross taylor turns his arm over more than graham smith, but on the whole great side
