Re: Notts 606ers
Lots of new cricket posters today - I think maybe people don't always think to look on the county boards (apart from Surrey supporters!)

Yes, just registered, might post here more than 606 from now on.

Hi Connor - look forward to your cricket posts. Cricket pages here are really taking off - and especially since BBC's 606 closed. Several thousand cricket posts here in the last two or three weeks alone ...

Re: Notts 606ers
good news then! There's a lot less here than I would have expected but I suppose it will soon pick up, are we the only 3 notts fans, there were several on 606. I'll still be posting though, perhaps even more so as it seems less WUMmy and more user friendly than the original 606.

Re: Notts 606ers
Connor - have to confess I am a Surrey supporter - but keen to engage in good natured discussion with other counties' supporters. You'll see that on the counties page Surrey has really taken off with a healthy number of supporters and loads of posts - but it's a bit thin for most of the other counties.
The wider cricket pages are where there's been big growth in recent weeks, with loads going on during test matches. I know from what people have said that quite a lot of the cricket posters are supporters of individual counties. So I'm hoping that as the general cricket pages attract more and more posters this will start to spread out into the county pages...
It's a very friendly site. I can only think of one person who has shown WUM tendencies about cricket - but that is a complete exception.

Re: Notts 606ers
Connor - a warm welcome to 606v2. Like the Corporal, I'm a Surrey supporter but a keen follower of cricket generally going back many years.
One of my and Surrey's favourite cricketers is/was Ali Brown. Although he was past his most thrilling best when he joined Notts, I hope you've been able to glimpse a bit of his true talent.
