Went off limping after about 10 minutes. Ankle or knee I think

You want to be careful typing things like that from within the socialist republic of Scotland, you'll end up on one of Nicola's watch lists!

Speaking of watchlists, remember to CC Thresea May & GCHQ into all emails from now on.

Theresa May will be on the warpath. Her face was thunderous when she realised that her party was on it's way to a majority and her boss is now secure in his job for 5 more years. All that work building her leadership campaign gone to waste.

Given Edinburgh's current feeble performance against the Dragons I hope that continues into next week!

I've got to say, that was really poor from the boys.
Ospreys were better in every department, so well done to them.

Very much second best.
Plethora of handling errors & Weirs kicking combined with Webb juicy try well & truly killed us.
Failure to pick up a bonus point huge

Not a good game for Glasgow. Just not in the game today, paid the price for no hard games in the past few weeks. Hopefully a wake up call for the rest of the season!

Thought Naka tried to force things too much - not the conditions for his crazy offloads and most went to ground. Strauss is off the boil as well. Not the Glasgow we are used to seeing, the intensity levels were not there.
I thought Rhys Webb was outstanding this evening. Top top class.

Agreed, it was a deserved win for Ospreys. Glasgow need to get back on their game and this may be the wake up call they need. Looks like Captain Kellock will be back in a Glasgow shirt at least once more as well!

Well deserved Ospreys. Also well done Derek Bevan on TMO, given some of the TMO efforts in the pro12 this year a very fair display, especially on the 'any reason not to award the try'

Re: Ospreys v Glasgow Warriors, 8 May
It's a difficult one to analyse, at least it is for me as I'm not as cute as Mike Blair. In the first half we seemed to be disrupting and pushing back their scrum. Ditto driving back their maul. Fozzie was all over every breakdown and it looked like just a question of time before the tries came. That really is the end of the positives, George.
Meatball kicked a lot but to no real effect. Conversely the O's kicked to Mata all night and he paid them back by running into dark alleys and causing more problems for us than them. In true MadMata style he broke the line a few times and looked exciting but ultimately nothing came of it. Conversely, they avoided kicking to Seymour who barely touched the ball all evening. Next time we have a genius/liability debate around Niko that might be worth bearing in mind.
The backs had starvations rations all evening so other than tackling themselves to a standstill Furra Linee and Richie V didn't really do anything.
It looked like a flat, tired performance. The pack were good in the tight but were very undynamic (if there is such a word) going forward. Naka had a nightmare with ball in hand and seemed intent on showing that he could run up more cul de sacs than his fellow Fijian. But then who can we bring in to liven things up? Batman looked lacking in match fitness. Ashe and Hugh Blake for the flankers? Do we have another fit second row? Cue The Captain? Oh yes I almost forgot, WeePee looked as if he had been studying at the Mr Chinhook School of Squint Throwing, which didn't exactly help the cause.
If Ulster win today and we beat them on Saturday then we should be runners up and have a home semi.
One last thought ; Clownshoes was reffing and I actually heard Jiffy say "I think Gl;asgow have been slightly unlucky, it seems that very fifty-fifty decision has gone the Osprey's way tonight."

Re: Ospreys v Glasgow Warriors, 8 May
My take on last night, excellent atmosphere for which was still a dissapointing crowd, given the offers that were on offer, not a great night weather wise.
As for the game, I was very vocal over some of Clancy's decisions, which when looking back on television, he wasn't too bad, the penalty against Ardron for the lineout steal was ridiculous, it was only justice, that Weir missed. For Glasgow your 2 Fijians are great entertainers, but are also loose cannons IMO, I said yesterday we needed our experienced players to stand up and did they, AWJ, Tipuric, Biggar were up there performance wise with MOTM Matavesi, the thought process and execution by Baldwin, Smith and Webb for the latter's try was excellent, and John had another very good game
(and NO, Saint I'm NOT advocating him for a Wales call up), our challenging for lineout ball is also improving, I think that had a lot to do with your hookers poor arrows, I just hope Hassler has NOT aggravated his long term injury, and one further plus Lydiate when he came on was used as a lineout option and he carried with a decent bit of aggression, he will need to offer those things in abundance next season to get ahead of both Ardron and King, hopefully they will not be needed in the 2nd row with the 2 South Africans Steenkamp and Bernardo available with Peers with the 2 Welsh U20 Internationals as further back up.
With todays draw out in Belfast leaving our fate in our own hands, it has been an excellent weekend so far.

Cheers Wayne - the paddies locked on a non TBP draw was the best possible result for each of us.
Surely it would be regarded as a disaster if the Os didn't score a home semi now? We put more than 30 points on Connacht in Galway with a makrshift team, so I would imagine that doesn't hold too many fears for you.

That's alright then. I'd be surprised if he did get a call-up even if he does continue this form through the remaining games of the season, it seems an area of strength right now.

Re: Ospreys v Glasgow Warriors, 8 May
George we only beat them at home 26-11, even though we had a makeshift team out as well due to the Autumn Internationals, we very rarely hammer them home or away, they seem to up their game for us, I think we will do very well to get 4 points, and if you and Munster get 5 it will not be enough.George Carlin wrote:Cheers Wayne - the paddies locked on a non TBP draw was the best possible result for each of us.
