Labour are in where I live. Should probably be the same again but who knows with the amount of numpties in Scotland who have fallen for the line that the SNP is a left-wing progressive party.

I like your Green vote . I have thought similar, over the terms of the last parliament our Labour MP has been sent to prison and we have had the paedo scandal, they have hardly had a good term. However their majority is not strong or ridiculous enough for me to risk it, firstly I am not even sure we will have a Green candidate on the ballot and secondly Rotherham folk are generally stupid enough to vote in a UKIP candidate if enough Labour voters desert them. I can't have that on my conscience.

Sorry to hear that Jules, unlike Tina I dearly love cats, and mine in particular, would break my heart if I was in the same position.

Missus is staying with her mum at the moment so just me and the cats. They are pi55ing me off a bit at the moment with their fighting which usually occurs at 5am. Last night I decided to lock them out the bedroom for the night but one of the feckers managed to turn the door knob and get in.

You're right for me. I think it has been Tory round here since WW1.
Cane is in Suffolk now so could well be Tory. Grimsby is probably Labour but Suffolk might not be.
I am indeed in Suffolk and represented by a Tory.
His name is Ben Gummer, and I noticed that some carefully placed folding of one of his campaign leaflets resulted in the slogan "Vote Bummer", which I found a lot more amusing than I probably should have.
Grimsby will be UKIP tomorrow I shouldn't wonder.

Tino - Tory
shah - BNP
Jules - Liberal
serialdave - LABOUR
Super - Labour
Galted - Labour (difficult one that)
Raf - AWB
rick - Labour
Adam - Labour
Cane - Labour
My consituency is looking like it is going SNP having been Lib Dem for as long as I have been here.
Last election the split was:
Lib Dem 8500 odd
Labour 8000 odd
Conservative 7000
SNP 2000
The prediction is SNP 22000 this time!
I am going to vote Lib Dem again as any other vote is likely to be wasted against the SNP. I personally believe that the SNP will rip the whole of the UK apart if they form a coalition government. I am genuinely worried that they get a clean sweep of Scotland.

They will just about do it and it staggers me that a huge portion of the Scottish population can't see what utter c*nting bastards the SNP are.

What frustrates me is that their [inbred] supporters are shouting about being traitors to Scotland if you dont vote SNP. I guarantee that half of them will be at Parkhead this weekend waving a Irish flag.

Will they get the near clean sweep? I know that is what all the polls are predicting and would guess they have done more research than me, but 54% voted against independence, surely they will know this is back on the table if the SNP sweep the board, will they not come out in numbers to prevent this?

Turn-out won't be nearly as high as the referendum and the SNP supporters are nothing if not mobilized. I don't think they will do quite as well as predicted - a lot of traditional conservative supporters might actually save the day for Labour by voting tactically for them.

Re: The Culture Cup Round x - Adam is a naughty naughty boy
I reckon the snp will do a deal with conservatives and Scotland will burn to the ground on Friday night. so all in all a typical weekend.
On a serious note this may be the nastiest and most ineffectual government ever and bad times are looming ahead not just in terms of the union but possibly our ability to borrow money, to enact reform and stopping the rot in our public services. I don't think the government can function if one parties balls are in the grip of other or if one party is voting punitive ly because they didn't get the power they wanted.

The fact that you automatically thought I was talking about the conservatives lends the lie to thst statement. If you considered the rest of the paragraph you'd have realised I was talking about the Snp

Couldnt agree more with michaels (Things I thought I would never say #4)
The truth is that over the last 5 years, the country is in a better position than it was when they took over. They have done this through cutting the fat as opposed to trying to spend our way out of trouble. I was a victim of the recession but still believe that they have done a great job with the economy.
It always makes me laugh how as soon as a government inherit a problem, its instantly their fault that its happened!

Neither are the conservatives now it's election day. I was just suggesting that should labour win with a deal with the snp or chance it with a queens speech without enough seats the political point scoring will prevent any progress.

I won't be changing. I feel liberated actually voting for someone I want to for a change.
I'd never vote Conservative, despite the fact I am almost certainly better off under them.

I did vote Greens once in a State Election... which was also a protest vote. Their numbers were insignificant but I did feel good too afterwards.
This whole hung Parliament thing is so depressing.
The current system of democracy is being abused with all these nincompoops out for their own private glory.
I hate when people say afterwards: "Oh well... you got the government you deserve". All of you blokes deserve a better choice and a better Gvt.
