Atletico Madrid (2nd) v Real Madrid (11th)
Injuries: Cani, Raúl García, Cristian Rodríguez and Miranda (Atletico Madrid); Pepe, Gareth Bale, Raul de Tomas and Burgui (Real Madrid).
Top Scorers: N/A.
Miky's Analysis:
Huge Madrid derby to start off the league in style and Real Madrid wasted no time getting the game going with Ronaldo having a lot of joy down the left hand side and Isco being able to get into the space in central midfield as instructed to feed Tevez the through balls. Aletico found it difficult to make things happen through the central areas especially with Javi Martinez marking Totti which i feel isolated him out of the game and this forced Atletico to keep using the wide areas however they were not able to find an equaliser. Overall i liked the shape of Atletico and i also like Totti but i feel they need someone else there who was able to lose Martinez and have more of an impact on the game.
Result: Atletico Madrid 0-1 Real Madrid (Tevez)

Barcelona (3rd) v PSG (9th)
Injuries: Sergio Busquets, Gabi, Pedro and Munir El Haddaddi (FC Barcelona); Mike Maignan, Marquinhos, Lucas Digne and Thiago Motta (PSG).

Miky's Analysis:
This was a game of quick and accurate passing from the very start. Both teams had clear plans of what they wanted to do and excecuted them brilliantly. The high tempo pressing game worked for the majority of the game but ended up being the killer blow for PSG as the likes of Iniesta and Rakitic had the range of passing nessecary to spray the ball out into the wide areas late on leaving the tiring PSG players out of position for Messi and Neymar to capitalise on and allowing them to link up with Suarez in that dangerous attacking 3. Ibrahimovic managed to get in and amongst the Barcelona defenders making himself known but Godin and Pique were able to manage him in that strong partnership.
Result: Barcelona 1-0 (Messi)

Bayern Munich (4th) v Porto (10th)
Injuries: Franck Ribery, Lukas Gortler, Marco Reus and Sinan Kurt (Bayern Munich); Victor Garcia, Alex Sandro, Frank Lampard and Bruno Martins Indi (Porto).
Top Scorers: N/A.
Miky's Analysis:
An exciting game in which Bayern show thier quality from the very start. Bayern were very organised with Xabi Alonso just controlling the game from deep and including a mixture of pace and power up front with Robben and Costa. Costa was able to get in amongst the Porto defence and cause problems and they were both able to latch onto passes from Cazorla who was drifting into nice areas throughout the game. It seems Porto wanted to get Martinez into the game as much as possible and he did just that as he was able to get on the end of crosses into the box from the wide areas from the fullbacks, Tello and Quaresma. Unfortunately he wasn't able to make anything happen from them and i feel that Porto could do with a number 10 or someone to play just off Martinez up front in future matches to provide him with more support.
Result: Bayern Munich 2-0 Porto (Robben, Costa)

This game was tactically brilliant. Chelsea had the added power of Lewandowski and Muller partnered with Hazard in attack and City had the energy of Kondogbia as well as the creativity of Silva to mention just some of the players from both sides. To start with, Hazard managed to cut inside, shooting from the edge of the area to score a beautiful goal early on which caught City off guard. From there though City came back fighting and more than grew into the game, executing their tactics to perfection. Lewandowski wasn't able to effect the game as much due to Kompany man-marking him. Aguero was able to latch onto passes from Silva and Nasri and he was able to dispatch one during the second half to equalise and earn a draw for his team.

Dortmund (5th) v Juventus (7th)
Injuries: Jon Gorenc-Stankovic, Neven Subotic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Mustafa Amini (Dortmund); Andres Tello, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Martín Cáceres and Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus).
Top Scorers: N/A.
Miky's Analysis:
This was another good game with plenty of action with Vidal and Pogba enforcing the midfield shape and keeping possession with Marchisio looking to play-make from a deeper position and in front of them was Rodriguez who was looking to unlock the Dortmund door throughout the game. As a unit, this Juventus team are definitely one of the strongest in the league. Dortmund played well but they found it difficult to break down the Juventus shape. Most of Dortmund's joy was from getting the ball into Aubameyang and Remy but they were only able to get in and among the defenders and not in behind due to the brilliant organisation of Chiellini and Barzagli.
Result: Dortmund 0-2 Juventus (Benzema, Rodriguez)

- We are playing marky and his real madrid ' superstars ' inn the opening game of the season. He is one lucky I am a twonk of the highest order because 2 of his injuries were the wastemen youth players who can suck a fat one and choke on it and die. His main player will be MR GREEDY Cristiano Ronaldo, but we have Juanfran, the unbeatable beast who put CR7 in his back pocket for the past couple of seasons irl marking him.

DEFENCE
Oblak will look to command his area. His height will help him deal with aerial balls and will use his good reflexes to save any shots. Juanfran will probably be up againSt Ronaldo so it will be hard to contain him for the full 90 mins but with Griezmann helping out in defence you can outnumber him and shackle him. RB also will look to drift infield into a centre forward position so I want my CB'S to be wary of that. On the right side it will probably be Sanchez playing with Bale being injured. I will trust Alba with marking the Chillean and snuffing out his threat. Alderweireld and Mathieu are two tall, strong defenders but are fairly fast and can deal with the pace of the real madrid attack. Tevez is not the tallest of strikers the dog faced gremlin, but he is the type of player who never gives up so I want you to be aware of his presence. Alba and Juanfran are to help out in attack aswell by making overlapping runs and supporting my wingers.
MIDFIELD
Mario Suárez will be the defense mid, he will look to put in tackles and hound the madrid AM, probably Isco. Also he will help out in closing down Ronaldo and put a tackle in if he tries to cut in from the right. Koke will be the box to box midfielder. He will look to pass the ball forward and make attacking forays through the middle. Keep things simple, shoot if you see a chance. Griezmann will start on the left and get some crosses in for Giroud to convert. If you can beat the madrid RB with your skills and dribbling ability then try. Turan will di the same. They will also help out in defence by tracking back when we don't have possession of the ball. Swap flans after a while to confuse the opposition and Griezmann will cut in from the right and shoot with his devastating left foot of justice. Totti will be my attack mid. What he lacks in pace, he makes up in his brilliant passing and playmaking ability. He can also score some beauties from long range aswell.
STRIKE
Up front will be the frenchie Giroud. He will be the target man and will look to use his height and physical presence to his advantage. Link the play, pass the ball to the wingers and use your excellent positional play in the 6 yard box to score. You will be up against Ramos and Mertesacker, two formidable foes but you have the ability to cause them troubles and panic. As much as how good Ramos is, he is an attacking CB and will be caught out of position and when he does, little old Mert will be left alone.
Subs if LOSING BY 65MINS
Put on Torres for Suarez and Montero for Turan. Change formation to 4 1 2 1 2 with Torres partnering Giroud up front.
Subs if WINNING BY 65MINS
Take of Totti and put on Tiago and play deep defensive hoofball. EVERYONE WILL DEFEND.
Subs if DRAWING BY 65MINS
Torres for Giroud, Xavi for Koke and Montero for Turan. Keep same formation.

Tough but winnable game against Atletico, they have some world class players in their side, however we have some world class players of our own to hurt them and cause them real problems. Our front four with assistance from the fullbacks should create plenty of chances, and in midfield we have a trio who can dictate the game in Martinez, Kroos and Isco.
Navas - Distribute from the back to the fullbacks/CM's, stay in communication with your defence throughout, be wary of long range efforts and ensure you stay big for any one on ones. On occasion go long for Tevez.
Ramos/Mertesacker - Mertesacker to mark their striker, force him high up the pitch thus limiting his impact close to goal, and Ramos to be the spare man, be first to the second ball and their second striker/AM making runs from midfield. When in possession bring the ball out of defence and use the midfielders ahead of you to help us play out from the back. Both of you go forward for setpieces.
Debuchy/Marcelo - Both of you to force the Atletico wingers out wide, do not allow them to come inside as this will cause more problems for our midfield. They will want to cut inside so force them outside and block their crosses at source. They will try to create problems infield so its vital you only show them down the wing. When we have possession, push forward and support Sanchez/Ronaldo as they will try to run inside the fullback and you will provide the overlap to either create space or supply crosses into the area for Tevez and link with Isco. You will need to track back very quickly to ensure we don't get caught on the break.
Martinez/Kroos - Martinez to patrol infront of the back four, if they play an AM stay on him, but don't follow if he drifts wide. Be first to any loose balls and in possession look for the attackers and pass rather than bring the ball out. Kroos the box to box man, assist Martinez and the CB's in dealing with the Atletico attack when we don't have the ball, but in possession get forward, use your physical presence and ball playing ability to our advantage, link with Isco and look to create chances for Tevez. Remain composed throughout.
Isco - Playing the AM role, with the ball I want you to drift left and right, drag their DM out of position as they will be assigned to track your runs, swap with Sanchez and Ronaldo on occasion to create confusion and leave space for your teammates to run into. Link with Sanchez, Ronaldo, Tevez and Kroos, look for Tevez on the last defender for a through ball and also shoot if you get the opportunity. Get yourself between their DM and the ball, make them go through you and foul you to stop you, thus creating setpiece chances for Ronaldo.
Sanchez/Ronaldo - Both playing out wide and both have the pace and trickery to beat the Atletico fullbacks and get crosses in, but both of you will also have our fullback overlapping giving you the chance to cut inside and get shots in. Look to supply Tevez with chances and also provide yourselves with chances. Link up with Isco, and capitalise on the space Tevez's presence will create for you. Without the ball I expect you two to track back and assist your fullback.
Tevez - you will be expected to occupy the Atletico centrebacks, hold up possession and look to turn the defender and shoot. Be strong in the air and look for your teammates trying to pick you out from deep. Shoot on sight. Stay on the last defender's shoulder for any passes in behind.
Subs 70 mins:
If winning: Isco off, Coquelin on. Switch to 4-5-1 but Coquelin giving us better defensive cover alongside Martinez and Kroos. Absorb pressure and hit on the break.
If drawing: Isco off, Oxlade-Chamberlain on. Tactical change, same system but a reshuffle, Tevez to AM, Oxlade-Chamberlain to RW, Sanchez to LW, Ronaldo upfront. Same formation but more attacking threat, push for the winner without overcommitting.
If losing: Martinez and Mertesacker off, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Llorente on. Switch to 3-1-4-2, back three of Debuchy - Ramos - Marcelo, Kroos in a quarterback role starting attacks from CM, Oxlade-Chamberlain - Isco - Tevez - Sanchez behind a front two of Ronaldo and Llorente upfront. Push for goals.

TACTICS
We know what the real life Barcelona do, they look to attack quickly, get the ball to the front three who will drift around finding pockets of space, exploiting their defense which is missing two first teamers in Digne and Marquinhos. We want to play that style, get forward quickly, get into the space in behind their defense, take them on in one v ones. It's pretty much the same as real life Barcelona. Iniesta and Rakitic can join in the attack, Gaya and Danilo both getting forward and providing even more width too. Have a go at van der Weil and Maxwell.
Where we really differ from real life Barcelona is our defense. We have two energetic full backs who can get up and down the touchline, and should defensively look to force their wingers out wide, hold a strong position and jockey. Godin and Pique are both capable of leading, organising. Hold a strong back line with these two at the back, in particular look to close down Ibrahimovic quickly when he gets the ball. Midfield has Samper in the holding role, occupy the space in front of our back four and stop the likes of Lucas, Pastore finding space there. Iniesta and Rakitic should be quick to close down, the likes of Matuidi and Verratti if he gets forward. If Verratti is deep, then one of the front three should stop him getting on the ball.
In a nutshell, we are going to attack from the off, looking to play fast passing football with interchange in the front three. Defensively, hold a strong back line with high pressure in front.

GAME PLAN
Let's put down our marker and show this league that we belong here from the very first whistle! Enforcing a man-marking system, I want to see high tempo pressing throughout the entire side. Nearest man will always close the ball down with the objective to force Barcelona to be wasteful in possession. Force them to play backwards or attempt to play the long ball forward where they lack any height or strength to regain the ball.
DEFENDING
Marshalling the Back-Line, the entire back 4 will hold a deep line under the command of Thiago Silva. Look to limit the space behind by soaking up the pace that the likely 3 Barcelona Forwards will threat by trying to get behind. Each Defender will implement Man-to-Man Marking, applying tight marking and will always look to stay on their feet instead of rashly diving in. The objective is to slow-down and hold up play where we can break down in numbers with the support of Verratti and Matuidi to crowd them out. The FB's objective is to only defend so only support the midfield has a wide-option up until the half-way line. If Luiz get's the space, look to spray the ball between the FB's & CB's and pick out the runners from the wings.
ATTACKING
All 3 Forwards have a defensive duty. Look to get between the FB's & CB's and force cheap corners and throw-ins or force them back to the Goalkeeper. On the attack, Ibrahimovic will look drop deep and look to bring Pastore and both wingers into play with his aerial/strength ability. Both Wingers will again look to get in behind both FB & CB picking up the long balls and look either get the shot off or look to fizzle the ball across the box picking out Ibrahimovic or Pastore.
ON 75 Mins: Michael Carrick will replace Marco Verratti. Look to plug up the gaps supporting Matuidi. When on the ball, look to pick out the movement of both Wingers on each flank by looking to get the ball moving forward at all times.

Team Talk: Up against the random CF with a talented Porto side so gunna look to dominate the midfield and get the full backs up the pitch to keep them in.
Defensive Tactics
- Hummels to pick up the main forward and look to get tight to him and force him up the pitch
- Benatia & Koscielny to use their pace to cover Hummels, Look to watch for AM's making runs and wingers coming inside.
- Lahm & Bernat to force wingers down the line and make them cross into our land of giants.
- Alonso & Modric to sit infront of the defense and look to cut the supply into the forwards/am
- Cazorla to sit on their playmaker and stop him playing
Attacking
- Lahm & Bernat to get up the pitch to give width and whip balls in the box for Diego
- Alonso to sit and dictate play from deep and get the ball into Cazorla or out to the full backs when getting up the pitch
- Modric to advance forward and look to create chances for the front 2 and link up the play then get in the box
- Cazorla to drift about between DM's and look to slide passes in behind for Robben & Costa
- Costa to pick on the smaller CB and look to bully him and just p*ss him off and get into scoring positions
- Robben to use your pace to run in behind and curl one in, Use the pace to give time to others around you on the ball

injuries to 3 first teamers, are a huge blow as we set up for this week... Casillas makes debut and captains the side... Alves will be an attacking full back and look to get forward, as will Angel, whilst Marcano and Mascherano will be the rocks at the back.. Fernandinho protects the back four in an anchor role, and won't look to get forward... Tello and Quaresma offer the width, and will look to beat the full backs, and get the ball into the box, for Msrtinez... Casemior and Evandro will pull the strings, and thread balls through out to the wingers, and/or to the forward... Martinez, will hopeuflly provide the goals, via the aerial route, and/or shooting from range..

Tactics
Classic 4-3-3 set up, we're looking for Matic and Cesc to dictate the play in midfield and get the ball into our front three. Playing a passing game but have the option to go more direct too with Muller/Lewa excellent in the air.
Defensive tactics
We're willing to let City's defenders have the ball, but as soon as it comes into the midfielders we're looking to press them hard and win it back quickly.
We've got a strong physical presence with Mikel and Matic in the middle of the park to break up the forward runs of Kondogbia and Toure
Terry and Otamendi to use their reading of the game to prevent the supply into Aguero, Mikel and Matic will be crucial to this as they will look to get tight to Silva and prevent him from receiving the ball on the half turn. When the ball does go into Aguero, one of the CB's to get tight and the other to look to cover the spin round the corner.
Full backs to look to stay with their man if they are directly in opposition with wingers, but always be mindful of the ball into the channel between themselves and the centre backs.
Attacking tactics
Cesc to look to play balls into the path of Hazard and Muller cutting in, but also make forward runs when they stay wider and look for the cutback
Matic to play box to box, but be prepared to cover for Alaba if he has gone forward
Lewandowski to lead the line and use his movement to pull the City CBs out of position
Alaba to get down the outside when Hazard cuts in and offer an outlet, target Lewa and Muller with crosses. Ivanovic to do the same, but only one full back to go forward at a time
Mikel to look to play the ball to Cesc/Matic as soon as he receives it, if not on then take the safe option.

Pre-match
A new season begins lads and it's our arch-rivals Chelsea. When we have the ball I want you to use the overlapping fullbacks to create a diversion - play will go through Silva and Nasri behind Aguero and I want Aguero to be well-serviced by those two. Defensively, we know that Chelsea hate to be in a physical battle and so that's what I want from you when we don't have the ball - get stuck in, wind them up, make them get angry, make sure Hazard and Fabregas come second best in every 50/50 and keep tight on Lewandowski so he knows we have his number. If we keep the physical pressure on then we will come away with 3 points - get out there and show them we mean business!
Attacking
1. Silva and Nasri to orchestrate moves from their free roles off Aguero; Aguero to move between CBs to make space for them.
2. Zabaleta and de Sciglio to provide the overlap and get balls into the box when they get the chance.
3. Kondogbia and Fernando to provide energy and physicality in the middle; Fernando to sit deep while Kondogbia plays the Vieira role, supporting Silva and Nasri but getting back to defend.
Defending
1. Kompany to man-mark Lewandowsli; go pace for pace, stick tight to him, kick him, pull his shirt, make sure he knows he's in a battle and put him off his game.
2. Vidic and Demichelis to marshal the back line, use their experience to snuff out chances and get the ball clear, no messing about.
3. Zabaleta and de Sciglio to keep their wingers on the outside, and if Hazard plays centrally, Fernando will man mark him out of the game.
Sub: 70mins - Nasri off, Bony on - play two up top with Silva off them, Bony to bulldoze the tired CBs and hold the ball up for Aguero to dispatch into the back of the net.
Miky's Analysis:
This game was tactically brilliant. Chelsea had the added power of Lewandowski and Muller partnered with Hazard in attack and City had the energy of Kondogbia as well as the creativity of Silva to mention just some of the players from both sides. Team Talk: I want to play a high line as I feel we've got more than enough pace in our backline to deal with Juventus, forcing them back into their half which allows us to start attacks quickly in their half.
DEFENSIVE TACTICS: I want both FB to push up giving us width and to get balls into the box, Bender will cover to stop counters. Zouma pick up main striker, use your strength and pace do not let him settle. Boateng to pick up spare man or any runners. Bender screen the defence put pressure when they come into our final third. Gundogan & Thiago jockey your man close down angles for him to pass. Mkhitaryan sit on their deep midfield slowing down their passing game.
ATTACKING TACTICS: Gundogan & Thiago will take turns joining Kagawa in attack with strikers, generally look to keep the ball moving deciding the tempo and always be available for a pass. Kagawa run with the ball commiting their players into a tackle which leaves space. Remy and Aubameyang use your pace to get behind their defence also use wide positions to drag players out of position to open space for midfield.

Team talk
Our team are the form team in the league, whilst we may not have the Galacticos or big money buys like some others in the league what we do have is a collective team spirit and players that are currently playing out of their skins. This is in stark contrast to our opposition today Dortmund who come off their worst domestic form in years and their new manager Viva has torn his side asunder, ripping the backbone from it and replacing it with a lesser side. Gone are the masters of the Gegenpressing style of play and even if they continue to play in this high pressure manner then with the number of players Viva has brought in then it will take several weeks to bring together understanding between his team.
We meanwhile have simply tinkered with an already successful formula, the core diamond remains in the centre of the pitch and we use the style of play the Bianconeri have utilised this season, gone is the 3 man central defence with wingbacks as this is ineffective against sides with speed merchants such as Dortmund.
The one area in which Juventus have looked to improve is the Trequartista role linking midfield with attack and for that purpose we’ve brought in James Rodriguez who's been a shining light for what's been a disappointing season for Real.
Defence
Look to contain the players, nothing extravagant, the simple stuff from the back. Dortmund typically play with a high pressing speed attack, as a result play a deep line which in turn gives more freedom to our midfield quartet. Protecting the back four are three midfield players that will give any team nightmares, the intelligence of Marchisio, terrier like work of Vidal and the complete midfielder Pogba, the aim of the three is summed up in one word: possession.
Attack
While our midfield is comfortable in defence it is just as proficient in attack, it doesn't rely on one particular player to which to launch attack as all options are comfortable transitioning a defensive position to one of launching an attack, Vidal to act in the break up role, forever hunting and hindering the opposition, Marchisio to be looking to pick apart the threads, looking ahead for movement and space, Pogba to play b2b, cut through their team like a hot knife through butter.
Ahead of you is the trio of ex Real players so all should have built a good understanding over the past year, balls to feet, hold up play by Benzema with energy from Chicarito to pull apart the centre backs. Rodriguez to play in the hole, look to exploit the space and as shown at the World Cup to hit long range efforts against what's arguably the weakest keeper in the league.

Well done on the victory Hero but at least play fair.

This is stealth cheating and I'm not having this crap, theres one thing to state opposition weaknesses but its another to make stuff up. You can't use chemistry in these games everyones buying players every week.

Re: Week 1 Results.
Have to agree with Viva.
Like this from Juve's tactics I noticed.
Our team are the form team in the league, whilst we may not have the Galacticos or big money buys like some others in the league what we do have is a collective team spirit and players that are currently playing out of their skins.
...Like Pogba, Vidal, James, Benzema...

I noted the 4 new Dortmund players compared to the.... 4 new Juve players including a brand new front 3 (albeit all from the same team)

Did I do something wrong or is this nothing to do with me?

There's no issues with you at all mate, I think Viva is suggesting Hero tried to unfairly influence you though.

Why can I not bring up chemistry? It's clearly true that to understand a team's style of play takes a bedding in period for the players.
To say this is cheating is bang out of order.
Those four players cost £10m collectively, 2 were trades, 1 was a freebie. Yes they are great players but they're not big money buys.

Bringing up your opponent playing new players and ignoring your own team doing the same is a little naughty, even if cheating is too harsh.

I reference the fact I've brought in new players here:

And does Miky at any point reference the Dortmund players making errors, that the team is not bonding etc, no, there's no mention at all of it.

Re: Week 1 Results.
I have to say that I saw the part that is being discussed but I made
My own decisions on Dortmund.
I wouldn't ever vote down a team due to what someone types as an opinion in their tactics as its up to me to decide ultimately.

I'm not going to argue with you Hero, you know what you done so stop playing innocent.
Theres a difference between what you did and exploiting opposition weakness.
