SURREY HAVE NAMED A TWELVE MAN SQUAD FOR THEIR NATWEST T20 BLAST GAME AGAINST THE SUSSEX SHARKS AT ARUNDEL ON SUNDAY.
Kevin Pietersen is named in a NatWest T20 Blast squad for the first time this season but Kumar Sangakkara is unavailable having returned to Sri Lanka for their upcoming Test Series against Pakistan.

Kid Curran being left out is probably so he can play a Surrey under 12s game (or similar ) which'll be felt to be more use to him than carrying the drinks at Arundel. He's already mixed with the first team squad travelling down to Somerset and back which I reckon was the main aim of his initial call up. He'll definitely reappear some time though - he's well regarded.

Maybe big brother Tom to sit it out tomorrow. He needs a rest according to Stewie and Arundel may be a good time for that. Given his recent good form and the importance of promotion, he's unlikely to be given it for the CC match starting on Monday at the home of cricket.

Just been listening to Churchy - sounds dreadful.

Horrific news. Henriques apparently waved on way to the ambulance, but Burns is in a much worse state.
