The previous post above was 2 lines. Maybe I should fill them out with more full stops to "add value".

Mate I wish I found you as interesting as you find me....

You shouldn't confuse interest and pity. It only validates point 2 above.

Do you think Pulp Fiction should be in for Willis. I know it is a bit of an ensemble piece, but the same can be said of Sin City and that is in there.

Re: Top 10 - Kurt Russell vs Bruce Willis ....
Kurt Russell for me wins, I'm saying this as someone who loves Die Hard and thinks Twelve Monkeys is a very good movie. Kurt's Big 3 are just that little bit better for me, those being Big Trouble in Little China, Escape from LA and The Thing.
After that it's all a muchness for me both have done watchable movies with some dross along the way. Though on this level Willis has a little bit more though he's also been far more prolific on that front as well.

A fellow Carpenter fan........
I didn't like escape from LA that much mate..Thought it paled in comparison to the original in NY....
All those three films you mentioned were panned by the critics..........
A lot of snobbery against Carpenter back in the day.....
The Thing after The Exorcist is probably the best horror film I've ever seen...
Prefer Russell too but Willis body of work outshines him...........One of the few though that liked Tango and Cash...

Haha my mistake that should have been New York not LA. I did like LA it just wasn't as you said in the same league as the first film. I liked Tango & Cash not a great film by any stretch but its something I can still sit down and watch. Backdraft from Russell is probably his other stand out film though a little below the three I mentioned earlier.

Re: Top 10 - Kurt Russell vs Bruce Willis ....
I think this is an excellent match up and have enjoyed both of these two. Both been in great movies in their respective careers. My picks would have been very different to yours though!
Truss' picks:1.
The Thing (r)
2. Die hard (w)
3. Escape from New York (r)
4. The Sixth Sense (w)
5. Twelve Monkeys (w)
6. Tombstone (r)
7. Unbreakable (w)
8. Die hard 3 (w)
9. Deathproof (r)
10. Sin City (w)
My Picks:
Escape from New York
The Thing
Big Trouble in Little China
Tango and Cash
Executive Decision
Used Cars
Die Hard
Die Hard with a Vengeance
The Last Boy Scout
Hudson Hawke (very underrated and unfairly panned in my opinion)
Armageddon
Unbreakable

3. Escape from New York (r)
4. The Sixth Sense (w)
5. Twelve Monkeys (w)

8. Die hard 3 (w)
9. Deathproof (r)

Big Trouble In Little China is a quality film.
"This is Jack Burton on the pork chop express and i'm talking to whoever is listening out there"
Have heard they are doing a remake with The Rock.
No no no.

"Why don't we just wait here for a little while... and see what happens !!"
When McCready offers Childs the whisky bottle at the end and he takes a sip from the bottle.......McCready sniggers to tell the audience he knows Child's is a thing.....
Because they were told to prepare their own food to stop contamination...
