Re: Furious League
Lol Do you honestly believe that Wenger is after Seb Larsson Nick? He got rid of him because he isn't good enough for Arsenal and he still isn't no where near good enough for Arsenal.
I saw that game Andy, Henderson dominated Evra that game like Messi dominated him in the CL Final. Was like men against boys (if you don't take account of the relevant ages) lol! To be fair doesn't seem that hard to dominate Evra these days but back when Henderson did it Evra was playing a lot better.
Afro - Are spin classes cycling? They are supposed to be pretty intense yeah?
Voted on Bolton v Spuds.

Re: Furious League
Nick I know VDV wasn't in the starting line up but he was included in your descriptive tactics, thats what I was alluding to 8)
Di Natale uses his pace to score most of his goals, despite his age. Metersacker is one of the slowest CB's I have ever seen and Di Natale is a nippy little forward.
Everybody get your votes in on that last game please

Re: Furious League
I can't see what you are saying about Nicks tactics. VDW was injured and not in starting XI and I can't see him mentioned. VDV was in starting XI and was mentioned in tactics.
Injuries on their team pages Andy.
And Smarts, yeah Spinning is on the bikes and is really intense. They are slightly different to normal excercise bikes in that on an exercise bike, if you stop peddling, the peddles stop moving and you can have a breather. On Spin bikes, the peddles are in sync with the wheel and don't stop, so you can't just stop peddling when you are knackered

Any sign of Mouse?
He said he would be off until last Monday, so has he been on this week?
We could be waiting forever at this rate.

Where do you find out the code for this forum Afro?
Anybody seen that Charlton guy play? is he any good?
We do need to think of a way so that tactics can't be updated after they have been submitted.

I think if a post is edited, other than the latest post, it says it was edited.
I will test it now on my earlier post to tactics

Re: Furious League
It does.
So, if anyone edits their tactics after submission, it will flag up that they have been edited. Anyone editing without confirming it on the Mainpage first, will have a punishment (extra injury/-1 goal/forfeit game)
This is unless it is the latest post. Not sure how you stop it if the post is the latest one.

Re: Furious League
I know for a fact Nick changed the descritive tactics to read as Naughton instead of VDW I specifically remember reading VDW will be more defensive and will play the ball cross field to the left etc. I have a hawk eye bringing my accountancy skills to the table I don't make those mistakes.
I don't think that change is massive but it's still a change and we shouldn't do this in future....

If you edit the last post before anyone else posts, then it doesn't put the edit message at the bottom. But if there is another post since then it does. put BBB on your two posts now

Re: Furious League
BigFella, My line up 100% had walker in last nigth. In a rush I copied my tactics from a word doc so VDV was in some of the text but defo not the line up so I changed that. That is all, it says so on the comment.

Smarts, did you acctually read my lineup then??? Its a copy and paste error.
Anyway I dont care. Ill have a loss for bolton match AND MY NEXT FIXTURE. I just want to start the next season, transfers and keep people here (mainly new managers).
Im going to run last day of the season THIS friday 10th June.
Next week I can do sponsors, mouse will be back and new season start. Anyone have a problem with that???

Mouse - get your link in asap. We are not allowed to do any transfers until you do. Even if it is just a copy and paste from 606, you can tidy it later

Re: Furious League
Nick - I am not too bothered. When I did your match, I know that Walker was in there. Not too big a deal that you mention VDW as it wasn't a fundamental tactic and we have all done it.
However, we do need to work out how to stop managers from being able to change tactics after posting.
And if there are matches, we need some injuries

Re: Furious League
I checked your starting 11 it included Kyle Naughton not Walker or VDW. But your tactics referred to VDW. I wouldn't make somebody lose based just on that in my predos. But I don't like the fact you edited the tactics after you saw my comment. I always point out when people make an error in their tactics.

Sorry, I meant Naughton not Walker, as I was suprised that you had chosen Naughton above Walker.
Fan - we are lacking any foreign free agents so any you have would be great. I guess they need to be of some standard so that someone in the league would want them
