Just what the doctor (pardon the pun) ordered. An early break of serve from Murray in the second set to lead 7-6 1-0.

How's Azarenka on Court 12? What's her current ranking?

No. I don't believe she is. She now seemingly spends her time not on court being Gael Monfils' head cheerleader.

Wawrinka took the first set. Long way back now for Goffin. Wawrinka pulling off an RG-SW19 double is beginning to come into focus... and after that...

Sounds silly to day it but wawrinka is a real dark horse. Hard to say that about a guy who just won the French open but he hardly had a great grass record in the past.

He is so high on confidence right now and he can overpower anybody in the draw. If djokovic does meet him in the semis, he will be very nervous as stan has the ability to play the match on his terms. If he plays like the French open final, there is not a lot anybody can do to counteract that power and precision

I think he'll struggle to produce a performance as devastating as that on grass due to the faster surface and shorter time to swing at his shots.

He's playing very well though.

If ends up playing Novak, that match really will be on a knife edge.

Might be a case of different... But the same. Only been broken once this Wimbledon. So what he loses in Groundstrokes, he gains in serves. Will need Djokovic to have a poor serving day, but he needed that in Paris anyway.

Is Stan really playing well now?
stats show otherwise with 29W to 31UE, 54% first serves, 1/3 BP and defended 1/2...
Though I agree against Djoko he could tickle the world #1, if not tennistically, then mentally

Karlovic return and ground strokes are truly abysmal. How after that long on tour could you have such awful ground strokes!

And a much worse way to lose the set than through a TB:
- confidence rising for Ivo
- tougher mindset for Andy
- Ivo serving first again

Murray is going to explode at the fact that he managed to lose four points in which he had to feed the ball in against Karlovic.

Karlovic could probably make the second week of the odd grand slam until he's 40 with that serve.

To be fair, Ivo's stats for that set show he played very well - 10 aces, 78% first serves, 26 winners v 3 unforced errors.

With that serve, it's always going to be difficult to just overwhelm him on a fast court.

Cilic loses the second set to Kudla. Karlovic continues to serve with the force of Kratos, but Wozniacki is out.

Wawrinka steps it up from 2-0 down, and does that thing where he savagely bullies his opponent into submission. He's through 7-6 7-6 6-4
