Seth Rollins comes out (wearing a “Never Shuts Up” shirt mocking Cena’s tee) and brags about breaking John Cena’s nose, and the crowd chants ‘thank you Rollins’ at him. He says he felt it crack and heard it pop, and Cena kept fighting and caught him offguard, but it will never happen again. Rollins says they should do this one more time, but this time it’s title for title, winner takes all at WWE Summerslam! Rollins says it doesn’t matter if he beats Cena or Cena just doesn’t show up, because he will be the first person to hold the United States Championship and the WWE Championship at the same time. He reminds the crowd this is the same area where he won the WWE title, and it’s the same venue as the first ‘John Cena Open Challenge’, so he’s having one of his own right now! Rollins says the Authority allowed it as long as it’s an opponent under six feet tall and under 200 pounds… and Neville answers the challenge.

WWE Title Open Challenge
Neville vs Seth Rollins (c)

Neville surprises Rollins with a few strikes and knocks him outside as we go to a break, then we get back to see Rollins applying a headlock. Rollins kicks Neville and goes for a suplex, but Neville floats over and kicks him in the face. Neville lands a few more before Rollins knees him, then he heads up top but Neville catches him with a kick and an inverted sunset flip slam. Neville heads up top but Rollins rolls through and clotheslines him, then Neville tries to steal a pin before Rollins argues with the ref about the count. Rollins heads up top and Neville cuts him off and hits a step up hurricanrana, then he sends him across the ring and hits Red Arrow… for two! The crowd erupts but Rollins gets his foot on the rope, and Neville tries to compose himself and hit Red Arrow again, but Rollins hits a Pedigree for the win.

Winner – Seth Rollins

The New Day & The Ascension
vs Los Matadores & Lucha Dragons

Kofi leapfrogs the Matadores before getting caught with a corkscrew crossbody, then Konnor slams Diego in the corner and whips him. Diego kicks him back and goes for a springboard, but Viktor distracts him and Konnor shoves Diego on the floor. We get back from a break to see Viktor slam Diego for a near fall, then the Dragons get involved when Kofi and E interfere. Kofi kicks Kalisto in the face from the turnbuckles, then slams him down for the win.

Winners – The New Day & The Ascension

Charlotte & Becky Lynch
vs The Bella Twins

Charlotte gets a near fall before Nikki knees her a few times, then she applies a armbar but Charlotte knocks her back. Becky hits some clotheslines off the tag and rolls through into a Disarm-her, but Brie reaches the ropes and breaks it. Becky chases her outside but Nikki hits her as we go to a break, then we get back from a break to see Nikki applying a chinlock. Becky breaks it and Brie knees her in the corner, then she connects with a running knee and applies a modified chinlock. Becky breaks it with some uppercuts and both make tags, then Charlotte throws some chops and hits Nikki with a neckbreaker and a spear. Brie runs in but Becky hits a T-Bone suplex, then Nikki hits Charlotte with a spinebuster for two, then Charlotte counters a facebuster and makes her tap out to the Figure Eight.

Winners – Charlotte & Becky Lynch

Team BAD is shown backstage, and JoJo asks for their thoughts on the match they just watched. Naomi says they are the baddest women here, and they are sick of hearing about the ‘Sorority’ or whatever their name is… Naomi challenges Paige to a match tonight, then she says she is sick of hearing about Ronda Rousey because they are the real baddest women on the planet.

The Miz comes out for the “second-most” must see show in WWE, because there would be nothing, without Piper’s Pit. Miz points to the sky and says Roddy will be missed, then starts Miz TV, and introduces Kevin Owens. Cesaro cuts them off and Miz takes exception, but Owens mocks him and says his sacrifices were all for nothing. Owens says he beat John Cena and he’s accomplished more in three months than Cesaro has in three years.

They get in each other’s faces and Cesaro says Owens can talk and walk, but he can fight, and this is still a WWE ring. Cesaro challenges him to fight right there, and Owens says he’ll fight anyone, but the price isn’t right and tonight’s not happening. He goes to walk away and Miz goads Cesaro into going after him, then Owens runs back in and tries to attack. Cesaro fights him off and goes for a Cesaro Swing, but Owens bails and heads up the ramp.

Rusev (w/ Summer Rae) vs Mark Henry

Rusev attacks Henry with some stomps and a dropkick, then Rusev punches him in the back and applies a front facelock. Henry breaks it and goes for a powerslam, but Rusev comes back with some strikes, including a thrust kick, for the win.

Winner – Rusev

Zack Ryder vs Bad News Barrett

Wade hits a few strikes before Zack knocks him down and hits a Broski Boot, then he measures for a Rough Ryder. Wade ducks and sends him into the turnbuckles, then turns and hits a Bullhammer for the win.

Winner – Bad News Barrett

Paul Heyman comes out and says The Undertaker picked a fight with his client Brock Lesnar, and it’s not the Undertaker they know. He says this Taker is dealing with never being able to beat Brock, so he kicked him in the groin and he has more to tell. Heyman shows a video of them fighting on RAW, then he says Taker can’t rest in peace because he can’t live with losing to his client, the one in 22-1.

Brock comes to the ring and stands on the ring steps in the middle of the ring, and Heyman talks about how bad Taker wanted this match. He says Taker was originally turned down by the company for a rematch, but he went at started a fight and make it personal. Heyman says it could be anywhere, but it’s at Summerslam, and it’s the match too big for Wrestlemania. Heyman says Taker will get sent to Suplex City, and last time he took a year to recover, but this time he will rest in pieces at Brock’s hand!

Paige vs Naomi

Paige and Naomi trade punches in the corner before Naomi slams her down and applies a headlock. Paige escapes so Naomi sends her into the ringpost, then she kicks her a few times and whips her in the corner. Paige kicks her and hits a fallaway slam, then she sidesteps a dive by Naomi and kicks her in the head and makes her tap to the PTO.

Winner – Paige

Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns
vs Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper & Sheamus

After clearing the ring of the heels early, we get back from a break to see Bray repeatedly hitting Ambrose on the mat. He punches him in the corner and sets him on the turnbuckles, then Ambrose punches Harper on the apron. Bray turns and punches Ambrose and sends him to the floor, then we get back from a break to see Orton connect with some clotheslines off of a tag. Orton hits a neckbreaker and a hangman’s DDT, then Reigns connects with some punches and a clothesline that sends Sheamus outside.

Reigns connects with a basement dropkick, then he sees Bray on the announce table and hits him with one too. Reigns knocks Harper out of the way, then Superman punches Bray and turns to Sheamus. He almost gets caught with a Brogue Kick but Ambrose runs in for the interference, then we get multiple finisher attempts before Sheamus ducks a RKO. He goes for a Brogue, but Reigns hits the ropes and spears him for the win.

Winners – Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns

Neville vs Rollins was very good. The two near falls were awesome and the crowd bought into it big style.

Heymans promo was awesome again. The man can do no wrong right now.

The 6 man tag was fun. Not a technical masterpiece, but still fun.

Everything else was there. Nothing really stand out.

Thought it was decent again. Good consistency in general, moved a lot of things towards their goal without forcing the point.

First time I have watched Raw for a while (my little boy is just getting into it), cant believe the dross they pump out for 3 hours, when they could have a decent 90 minute show!

The same adverts, same plugging of the network, highlights shown 3-4 times throughout the show! Makes it into a bit of a yawnfest!

I miss Mark Henry and his Hall of Pain. Sucks that he's been booked weak for a while. Guess he's nothing more than a jobber now.

He's been filming a movie. In Kayfabe he was taken out by Rusev.

They had a cracking match on NXT about a 2 years ago. If that was anything to go by, and factor in how much better each man has got then the matches should be brilliant. The whole story around it is pants though.

Tell you what, Cesaro was on absolute fire on Smackdown. He seems to have just gone for it in the ring and with personality in matches too. He's doing things he wouldnt have done before and the crowd love it. And you can tell WWE are piping in some cheers for him on SD, always a good sign that the bosses are into what a guy is doing.
