Huck Vs Glowacki
Great fight last night. Must watch action fight. Got me thinking though: if this fight had been made in europe it probably would have had a european ref and the fighter knocked down and badly hurt early would never have had the chance to go on and become the knockout victor. Makes you wonder how many great comebacks overly protective european refs have prevented...

The US isn't exactly any better in that regard.

Shocked by this, thought Huck was indestructible.
Didn't see it but sounds like a great fight. Never heard of Glowacki before so really want to view this fight asap. Wonder if Huck is done or will he come again, but you don't stop Huck unless you got a bit of power.

Huck looked like he had it won at the end of the 10th; was winning rounds and seemed the stronger and then faded badly in the 11th.

I'll watch this when I come back from the football. Read about it this morning and it sounds like a cracker.

It was an entertaining fight. Really worth a watch. I had it 6 rounds to 4 Huck but with KD 96-93. Huck leaning back with his chin in the air gets caught and doesn't recover.
Think this result is music to Hearns ears. He's got more chance of enticing Glowacki over for Bellew then he ever did with Huck.

Hell of a fight! If I didn't know the result, no way would have have predicted Glowacki to make it out of the 6th round. Up at 9, legs wobbling all over the shop but someone managed to steady himself and throw some leather himself. Heavy stoppage as well.

That was a great finish by Glowacki. I always thought Huck was a bit overrated, but he's certainly tough - should have lost his title to Lebedev but for some dodgy home judges. Decent knockdown in the 6th by Huck though.

Re: Huck Vs Glowacki
But has Huck ever really been that highly rated?
What I thought he was to most, is a tough, game straight line brawler who's ways in exciting fights. You hit him once and he'll hit you back twice. Seemingly indomitable until last night. Wasn't called the Serbian Heartbreaker for nothing.
The amazing thing I guess is, that for a fighter who takes so many punches, he's lasted this long. It was never his defensive prowess shall we say, that was his appeal.
Perhaps that's him done now, or maybe it was just a freakish head-snapping punch and he'll come again just as strong.

What a great fight, Huck ALWAYS brings it and although he gets some favourable decisions in Germany he is still a great watch.
I have no idea how Glowacki got up after that left hook in the 6th, he was out of it.
Love to see a rematch and would fancy Huck to take it and take it big
