Should be a decent bout. For the WBC interim cruiserweight championship. Bellew must face winner or lost his belt.

Another cruiser cracker! Fancy Breidis to bring the shutters down on Huck's career.

Very very good fight with two of the best cruiserweights in the world boxer against brawler can't see Tony take on the winner I'm afraid

Bell to duck the winner as he knows it would be lights out and he's one of the weaker world 'champions' out there.

After Haye rips Bellew a new one he probably won't be seen again anyway

Yeh reckon he's cashing out with that one.

He'll have no HW credibility, at CW he'll either take the Briedis/Huck (get beat) and/or have no credibility, and he'll never boil down to LHW and be able to compete again.

Good fight. Thinking about it, Bellow vs Huck is a very entertaining fight and would sell well in Germany if the fight works out.

End of the road for Käpt'n Huck, Breidis took the veteran German to school. Breidis very impressive

I thought Briedis looked like a plodder (and Huck was past it). Woeful fight - switched off after a few rounds.

Agreed quite impressive bit of work from Breidis always looks very relaxed and wouldn't allow himself to be bullied in fact he bullied Huck a little bit not something you often see would like him to see him fight Usyk at some stage while Usyk looks good he gives me the feel he might be able to be roughed up

I think Huck still looks like he's got a bit of fire in his belly I don't think it's set in stone he's past it I don't think  Breidis is nearly as bad as you make out Haz, Huck may be limited but not often you see him completely dominated

Huck has never been that great anyway, it's does wonders for your career having six fights against Afolabi and Arslan neither of them are among the elite. Every time he's stepped up he's lost or benefitted from generous judging (Lebedev), it amazes me the reputation some of the Cruisers now have.

Always wise after the event..

Wish you'd remembered to tell us Breidis was going to beat Huck Saturday we'd have all made a few quid..

I though Huck looked completely spent. Briedis looked very one-dimensional and slow. I certainly wouldn't fancy his chances against Bellew.

The cruisers are currently the strongest they've been - maybe ever - with the likes of Gassiev, Usyk, Lebedev, Glowacki, Briedis, Bellew and Wlodarczyk.

I didn't think much of either of them so wasn't too bothered who won and my opinion that Huck was never that good is based on his previous fights not on Saturday, he had a fairly typical WBO reign of mediocrity.

I don't think the division is particularly talent filled and Briedis isn't one of the better Cruiserweights so no reason why Bellew couldn't beat him, he seems to hit fairly hard at the weight unlike Light Heavyweight. Has to be said that whilst not a stellar resume, Bellew has got a decent one.

Yeah! I think Bellew would be too lively for him. He seemed a bit one-paced on Saturday.

Let me clear up a few points here. IMO yes Briedis took Huck 'to school'. Whether Briedis held back a little will only be determined when he faces another top tier 200lbs fighter. With Huck, as Hammersmith said, he isn't truly elite, but he brings an entertaining style. But Briedis was very disciplined, he worked off his jab, he stopped Huck just marching forward. Briedis showed enough ring knowledge that on the rare occasions Huck managed to close the distance, the Latvian spoiled and totally nullified Huck. Yes Briedis didn't look as dynamic as he has in his previous bouts, but Huck is the best fighter he has faced. Huck was left so frustrated he madly kept throwing his money shot, the overhand right, but never came close to landing a Hail Mary.

Usyk is the undisputed boss at 200lbs, but Gassiev, Briedis and Lebadev are capable of giving the Ukrainian a good fight.
