In the springboks magazine they have our players to watch down as Josh Strauss, Sean Lamont and Ross Ford. Let's hope that's who the team is watching as well.

No - There is your straightforward answer
Scotland are very bad at rugby. Japan are better than Scotland at rugby. - There is your reason
Wales are very good. - There is a compliment

Whales are also very good - especially their scrum and maul. I am glad they are not in our group. If only we had some porpoise in our game plan

It means go away gwlad but nice try.
I shall be watching Japan Scotland at home next week - the joys of freelancing but will refrain on the beer. But I will post match and importantly score updates as it goes along for all those less fortunate.
I'll join the espn now, but bit concerned, it seems like a bit of a Frak planning for knockout stages and inevitable rotations ... I think will have to start at my expected final and work backwards.
In celebration of Mr schlong I shall name my squad lamontthecenturion and keep him in my squad throughout Scotlands participation .. if he makes 100 caps he stays in regardless of Scotland being knocked out

I had to do a bit of emergency squad fixing, as half my team decided to get injured - including my kicker
The secret is in thesauce - sorry, cheosing when to use the transfers in the pool games, too early and you could end up with an injured team - too late and no-one is happy
Have fun

'You are correct sir, your nation is better than ours' followed by have a bit of this you boobie!!
Love it, made my morning.
RE Scotlands chances, would I be right in suggesting 1/4's are a minimum requirement, although I'm sure noone is taking that for granted?
Do you guys think SA could be there for a shock result? And would you have rather played Samoa earlier in the schedule, and with the freshest and least injured possible squad available?

Hopefully today, because the deadline is 8pm tonight!
I suspect the ABs will go for their strongest team given it is their toughest game.

80% too. Though I contend one answer - only team to ever beat NZ in a game played in England? It doesn't say a RWC game - did England not beat them 2 years ago?!

Pretty much. Scotland should be ( but are not really right now) a top 8 team pushing the big boys. Samoa rightly were above Scotland when the draw was made and the IRB rankings show litle between them. Its Scotland / Samoa for second place in the goup
Its certainly possible if not very likely. Scotland have beaten SA a few times in recent yearsFanster wrote:

. The order of the games is not good for scotland and will give Samoa a slight advantage but on the other hand it does keep the group interesting to the end. Dunno about Samoas strength in depth but Scotlands is not great in a few positions - a couple of injuries to our most important players - Dancer and Ickle Jonny etc and we are half the team we might beFanster wrote:

Morning chaps, if you've got a moment, which judging by all the quizzing I'd say you do! (On that note measly 85%. How the hell has Doug Howlett scored 227 points at RWCs!? )

Bravo Glover man, bravo.
I realise that as an old old person I have come to the Lego animation party very late but I can heartily recommend Eddie Izzard "Cake or Death?" and Bernard Cribbins "Right Said Fred". The latter was excellent for teaching rhyme and rhythm. If not the correct use of Quote Function, Fes.
Mon the Fiji. Gerrintaethum.

I also got the youngest try scorer question wrong, plus had no idea on the final game of the group stages.
I also guessed (incorrectly) who the only team to beat NZ in England was (I thought it was the Aussies in 1991, but have just looked it up and that game was played in Dublin). I remember the French doing it in 2007 but forgot about 1999.

Cheers!
And ahhh, the Cake or Death one is such a classic. Funnily enough in one of my many attempts to schmooze up to various companies over the years, was exchanging emails with this London ad agency and by mistake got copied into a private conversation between two of them down there. The gist of it being couldn't we get the Cake or Death kid instead!

...why?
Is it because they'll get subbed at 50 mins usually? I was banking on them making enough impact i.e. scoring, assisting, MOM to not have to worry about being docked a point for the sub off.

nevermind , I agree hookers tend to make more of an impact than props I did think about putting 3 number 8s but then I thought my team would look a bit like Scotland
