V2 Football Podcast - "The State of the English Game" (Now on YouTube)
Welcome back to the V2 football podcast!
In Part 1: The lads discuss deadline day and whether or not it lived up to the hype. The transfer window is also looked at as a whole and the question is aksed: Who did the best and the worst business? Was Anthony Martial a panic buy? What next for De Gea? Was the Stones transfer saga a landmark? Is the Premier League record spend a good thing?
In Part 2: The team discuss the England team ahead of qualifiers against San Marino and Switzerland. How close is this team to the Euro 2016 team? Should Michael Carrick be involved? Does Jamie Vardy deserve the call up?
In Part 3: The lads have their most passionate debate to date discussing 'The State of the English Game'. What is wrong with English football? Are there just too many foreign players now? Is there anywhere left for the Englishmen? How do we find the 'Harry Kanes'? and should there be major changes to the transfer window and squad registration rules? Transfer caps, English quotas and the battle between the Premier League and the International team all feature prominently in one of the best debates on the V2 podcast so far.
