Non-League team?
Many people follow their local non-league team. Who is yours? And, do you have any interesting/funny stories about following said club?
I followed Bedford Town from 2001 to 2006, when they were in the Ryman Premier League and then moved into the Southern League Premier Divisiion. I have followed Leamington FC since 2007 when they were in the Midland Football Alliance, two promotions later and we are now playoff challengers in the Southern League Premier Division.

I follow AFC Hornchurch as a second team, although I haven't been to many matches as of late.
They are a reformed version of Hornchurch FC, who folded with money worries.
I was there when said former incarnation beat Darlington 2-0 in the FA Cup first round. Honestly one of the most brilliant atmospheres at a match, and the shock of winning and seeing it on MOTD was great!

I was on MOTD when I was 11, the reason I started watching Bedford was when they made the FA Cup 1st roud and got then Division 2(League 1 now) Peterborough at home. Held them to a 1-1 draw and lost the replay 2-1.
Re: Non-League team?
It's almost surreal when you see your local team on national TV isn't it?
Hornchurch were on again as one of the features in R2 against Tranmere, but I couldn't get tickets to the match.

Yeah it is, I remember it as the only non-league match I've needed tickets for. It was £15 for kids!!!
This was my last game before moving to Leamington, playoff final for promotion to the Conference South https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24aINfvfGsQ
Great day out, Bedford are in white. Stop it at 1:16, I'm behind the guy in blue and in front of the guy in grey with his arms up, and that's my Dad to the left of me behind the old man in the green cap.

I'll take a look when I get home and I can sneak past the rotten work filter.
I'm sure there is some footage of Hornchurch's match too, I'll have a look!

Re: Non-League team?
I'm a Crawley Town fan and have been going regularly since early 2003, the 2003/04 season we went on to win the Southern Premier League title and promotion to the Conference, and despite some very hard times and struggles to stay in the Conference, 3 consecutive seasons of points deductions, and coming within minutes of liquidation, we finally realised the dream and got into the Football League (albeit with a big budget), and played in the mosty surreal game of all at Old Trafford!
As amazing as it'll be to see Crawley Town in League 2 (where we start as favourites bizarrely) i'll be sad to see the back of Non-League.
