Australia in Bangladesh
I see Pat Cummins has once again succumbed to injury - this time after a handful of ODI appearances. He is out of the tour with a stress fracture in his back.
Faulkner gets a recall.

Can Cummins body ever sustain an international career?

Faulkner gets a recall and I really hope he gets a chance to play. Think he's Australia's best bet for a test all-rounder. Better than Marsh with ball by some way, and I don't think Marsh is that much ahead with the bat.......

Re: Australia in Bangladesh
Not at all related, but I remember saying in the Mohammad Aamir thread that maybe his ban was a blessing in disguise, because he'd already had two stress fractures at the age of 18. Seems a hard slog, fast bowling. I wonder if this is in some way related to the early specialisation of kids? Maybe fast bowling on its own isn't enough to develop a body which can withstand fast bowling. a guy like Steyn played rugby as did Morkel. both are rarely ever injured. I'd imagine both Aamir and cummins were groomed as cricketing prodigies pretty early on in the play

Due to a possible terror threat, Australia have delayed their departure to Bangladesh.

A bit of a surprise that. Hope they are able to work things out and go ahead with the tour.

Re: Australia in Bangladesh
tour has been or most certainly will be called off...
and I understand when there is a risk to life.....cricket becomes far too small.
BD and Pak can play each other that Ind and Aus have called off their tours

Re: Australia in Bangladesh
Right decision - both the UK and US governments are advising citizens to avoid Bangladesh also.
Hopefully for the sake of Bangladeshi cricket these issues get resolved soon
