Another good call from Garces. If that was considered illegal Lydiate might as well retire.

What has happened to the Welsh scrum? It used to be very good at one time.

Garces is having a good game but the Lydiate call was 50/50. No attempt to wrap the left arm whatsoever. Other refs would have binned him.
Re Marler I think it's actually Francis trying to get in on Youngs as he isn't the biggest. Marler is staying straight and just slaughtering him whilst Cole has got Jenkins in his pocket.

The Welsh scrum is going to be whats going to lose them the game. I can't believe Gethin Jenkins has suddenly become a bad scummager, I'm baffled.

You very rarely see a loose head who won't angle in if he thinks he can getr away with it, and Marler is a normal loose head.
Good try for England.

The last scrum was shown from an overhead camera. Marler was literally perpendicular to the rest of the players.

Excellently executed move from the line-out, apart from one dodgy pass.

Well England were 1/3 with the bookmakers pre-match. The only hype arises from the geographical rivalry.

If the tight head angles in then generally the loose head follows.
Biggar was unlucky with the knock on call.

Farrell and Burgess not talking in defence sees one up and one drift then Williams is straight through.

Have Wales thrown one lineout down the middle, they seem to be straight over their jumper or worse?

That is the first half over with England being 7 points up. Lets hope for just as good a second half.
And England getting more tries.
I just hope i having jinx then right now.

Englands line speed is brilliant, and the Welsh set piece is poor at the moment. Still only 7 points in it and it can change easily. I don't think anyone would be surprised if you said before the game England would be ahead.

Depends on whether Wales can stop their ridiculous "smash" routine in attack. The backs outside Roberts are sharp in space so they've got to get them the ball.
England need to stop the moronic penalties and need to just keep the set piece pressure. Missing touch is not an option again.

Why are you surprised with Gethin Jenkins performance? He never was a great scrummager to begin with and no wonder why he didn't last long in the top 14.
Adam Jones was a hell of a scrummager to be dominant with such an average scrummager next to him.

He's not an awful scrummager, if he was Wales wouldnt of won the championships they have over the years. But he has been awful recently, or at least he's getting pinged a lot, the problem we have is James is injured and we have 2 tight heads on the bench.

Ever since they too the hit out of the scrum, is scrumaging as gone down hill. But he is still the best Wales have in his position. That is why he keeps getting picked.
