Sucker punch
First topic message reminder :
Can someone fill me in what this was all about?
Why did he do it and what was the aftermath?
Is this a famous incident or is this the first time you've seen it like me?
Thoughts welcome!

Maybe not argue is the right word, but there has been some funny back and forth at times.

Dipper summed it up best...
Credit where it's due, I was quoting Adam but made a pig's ear of the quote button. I do agree with him though, thought he was spot on.

Re: Sucker punch
You and Toppy should on holiday to Spain and make things up I reckon. Toppy can complain that the hotel doesn't sell Carling on tap and you can moan about the Spanish waiter not speaking much EnglishTRUSSMAN66 wrote:Let's debate the thread...

Back to the thread...not interested in Butler's mental health issues. Lots of people have them but unless you are some severely disturbed paranoid schizophrenic then there really is no excuse for sucker punching people and then going on to commit murder and in this case coldly and calculatedly trying to cover it up with a fire
Hope Butler rots in his cell and never gets let out personally

Re: Sucker punch
This is where the murky side of mental health comes into though, as we as a society have ignored it for so long and have never tried to understand it, it's a go to defence for some despicable people who use it as an excuse for the evil they have done. Although that's not to say that some people weren't suffering issues when they commited their crimes. This hasn't been helped in recent years (esp in America) by an absolute spate of people self diagnosing themselves with anything from depression to ADHD to Autism etc and it drives me up the wall, especially as you know their are serious cases of people in their midsts that need professional help.
Whilst it is manageable by some people without medication they should still get diagnosed by a doc properly so that the statistic is on a piece of paper and is considered when funding for these issues come up. Depression/mental health doesn't just take the form of people being sad/upset, it can involve horrendous mood swings (check), unrelated anger (check), massive highs and massive lows(check) disassociating yourself from your surroundings and a host of others.
Some of the lads on here know, i'm not shy about coming forward with my experiences in the hope that it can help other people see an issue and stop it before it gets as bad as I had it.
It's not something to be ashamed of and it's not something to be scared/reluctant to see your doc about. They're there to help and you'd be surprised how much a good one can.
P.S No hardships Toppy, didn't think anything was aimed at me anyhoo.
