Jeez. Are the Welsh forwards really pushing the pack that rag-dolled us, around? Good play just stay disciplined

And yet when I think of many of the best test matches of recent years, Nigel Owens has been in the middle.

South Africa don't have to stay on their feet at the breakdown then?

Very lucky there for SA, that could have been reviewed and based on the TMO's this RWC could have led to more.
For the record, I believe he was going for the ball but the ref's have been hard on kicking near players on the ground.

Biggar is a little bit good isn't he, nobody in world Rugby is better than him at the kick, chase and gather.

You're right Notch but so much depends on the players too.
I don't think Barnes has awarded a penalty without warning the offender first. If they ignore it, they deserve to be penalised.

Barnes is doing fine. We can't blame him for poor discipline in our 22.

First two penalties were wrong in my view, but we really need to sort it out.

That was a maul and the scrum should have been for Wales IMHO.

It just occurred to me that SA bench is better than Wales so Wales really need to get a decent lead built soon before they start tiring

Not so good, Warburton. Totally isolated but not only his fauilt, Iguess.
Good play from the Saffer back row though

Disipline killing us early on, now it is all very 50/50. Dan Biggar's brilliance has kept it close

Dan Biggars kicking routine is like a bizarre dane craze.. Shame he missed that- Wales have been the better team and would deserve the lead going into half-time.

Wales haven't been great so I will disagree we've been the better team. SA seem to be playing more sensible rugby, and are winning the breakdown battle. It should do Wales some good to go on with the slight lead though...

Deserved lead in a very close game for Wales. Wales can certainly win this, but you'd back the SA bench to have a big impact.

Well deserved lead for Wales at half time. I actually thin that thy were the better team in the first half. Still feel thy may lose it from the bench but all the Welsh cans can be dead proud of these group of boys.

It's tough to call it. Score is probably a fair reflection. Wales shading it.
Waiting for SA to unleash their pace. If Wales continue to stifle them they can win this.

Wales certainly playing some great rugby. Putting pressure on the boks at the break down
Deserving there lead at the moment.
You feel that the SA are just a milimetre away from breaking lose. Looking forward now to the second half.

And that kind of sums Dan Carter up too. Nothing overly flash but the basics are spot on and he can bring the best out of those around himTJ wrote:Hammersmith harrier wrote:Biggar is a little bit good isn't he, nobody in world Rugby is better than him at the kick, chase and gather.

Cracking contest so far. Wales need to tighten up in a few areas but they look comfortable defending. Big test for the Boks in this half.

I think we need to get a score or two ahead before the benches empty, as if it's still level I think the SA bench will edge it.
