World Rugby really need to look at themselves.and open up the game. How is England playing France three times a year, as did Ireland and New Zealand, good.for.the game?
International rugby is far to closed shop.
Harsh comment. At least the final 4 teams have played more enterprising rugby than the rest.
It's not the team's fault the referees and TMOs have made quite a few blunders.

The Aussie back row is wining this for Australia. When then don't win a turnover they slow it brilliantly.
How did the officials miss that? Pullinhg the ball back in right in front of the ref?

Pretty sure I saw a no armed tackle put in by an Aussie there, looked worse than the Puma's one. Bit lucky there for Australia.
The Pumas are really coming back into this match.

For me, this has been the most exciting World Cup in recent memory in terms of the quality of rugby played.

I'm Scottish but i'm bored of the anti Aussie crowd and coverage. That decision by Barnes there is as bad as it gets! I'd rather see Australia in the final because they would actually have a chance.

Agreed it's been great, people of countries who are out always try and discredit it but apart from the poor scheduling it's been a fantastic tournament with the 4 best teams in the semi's.

Australia so lazy to get to that breakdown then. Fully deserved to be turned over.

It has been a really good RWC thanks in large part to Pool A and some really close games throughout. Anyone saying otherwise is loco.

Cant really complain about this RWC, the rugby has been excellent, the crowds outstanding and the coverage brilliant.
The only grip I have is the over involvement of the TMO's at times.

Australia have been just too clinical for the Pumas. More endeavour from the Puma's but just unable to finish off their chances.
AAC Hat trick does it for the Puma's.

Last week against Ireland, these moves were working for Argentina, today the pressure of a RWC semi final has got to them.

Re: SF2: Argentina v Australia, 25 October
Aus have best defense in the tournament. The only team that can maybe keep the ABs from scoring tries. Cheika has added proper steal to them. Was cheerimg for arg but have to say 4-0 tries despite a huge amount of possession from Arg- oz worthy winners well done. shows what a bit of structure could do for arg though. Too much headless chicken stuff at times.

I thought it was changed to how it comes out of the hands, not if the ball goes forward

Well after all the ups and down over the last few weeks, the best 2 teams will contest the final. Predictable perhaps, but true to form.

Well done wallabies, deserving victors. Wallabies seem to start games really well but have big second half lulls. The ABs will look to target these periods.

All credit to the Aussie defence, they have blitzed the Argentinian attack which Ireland couldn't do but they have also made so many unforced erros's which they weren't making last week.
Aus - AB final. That is going to be tasty.

Re: SF2: Argentina v Australia, 25 October
Yes, wolfball. Australia and New Zealand are both very defensive oriented teams. Also the most attacking teams.
I think the All Blacks will have too much for them, ebop... thanks for above!
These games have taken a lot out of the players.
There surely must be more and worsening niggling injuries now after that match. Who will be left standing? Time will tell.

Australia in to the final with New Zealand. Number 1 and number 2 in the world rankings.
Well played Argentina a brave fight but Australia just too strong all around thge field to be honest.
A great game, and rhe best team won. Should New Zealand be worried? I don't know what to think about next week.

Well played OZ , solid across the park, Argentina just couldn't lift themselves for another knock out, the Aussie defence a tad better than the Irish.

All hail Australia. Dogged hard hoors. But look at the game. Look at the faces on these guys coming off a game on both sides.... and then look at what football offers.
What a game rugby is when played at the hardest toughest level. War.

The AB's have had an easy trip to the final before the semi but Aust have had a very hard time and could show next week.

It's NRL style defence. NZ do it too. Just relentlessly banging themselves against each other until someone cracks.
Exhausting to watch though!

Bit of a funny one for New Zealand, because they had a really hard game in the opener too- a very hard-fought opening game against Argentina. Then four pretty easy matches, then a real hard one again.

Yeah the ABs needed that tough game against SA to recalibrate. The wallabies have just kept on doing what they need to and massive respect for that. Today was pretty convincing for them.
