Lots of blood already, its a physical game but it hasn't seemed overly physical.

Re: SF2: Argentina v Australia, 25 October
I was about to say good refereeing there from Barnes for giving the benefit of the doubt but he issued a yellow card, poor decision in my mind. He did try to use his arms.

Why wasn't Lydiate yellowed v England?
Poor decision to get the yellow out.

He gave a proper description of why it was a yellow. The crowd unfairly in his back

That wasn't even a penalty as far as i'm concerned let alone a yellow card. Is this rugby or ballet dancing? i'm not sure.

He was correct. He had plenty of time to wrap his arms given the run up. Could not have been a late wrap

I think those tackles should be penalised, but a yellow card for that tackle was an extremely harsh decision and the inconsistency is appalling.

I can see why I would have been awarded a penalty and thought that Barnes was going to give the correct decision but the YC was harsh.
The Aussies running away with this now.

That long pass from Giteau that set up the last DM try was a beauty.

19-9, Argentina have the players to come up with moments of brilliance to come back from this, but they can't lose their heads.

Australia scored three tries to zero but the Argies are still in touch, as expected only one team in it, bot helped by a poor ref. I hope Barnes is not around for the final.

Alun if you were to put a few quid on Nigel Owens to ref the Final, I think that would be an extremely safe bet.

Re: SF2: Argentina v Australia, 25 October
Australia well in command at the moment, some beutefull moves from Giteu to Adam ashley cooper.
Argentin are looking out on their feet to be honest. looking forward to the second half...but can only see Australia pulling away in the second half.
On a side note what happend to that James O'conner that used too play for Australia?

I think I may have to look at that comment of your in real time!
Now in slow motion.
In realtime again, different angle please.
Benefit of the doubt for you billy. It's only a yellow for foolish comment.

Only ten points in it, despite being well behind the eight ball soo far.

Re: SF2: Argentina v Australia, 25 October
If Australia win, this World Cup will go down as a) boring b) even more remembered for a refereeing error.
World Rugby really need to look at themselves and open up the game. How is England playing France three times a year, as did Ireland and New Zealand, good for the game?
International rugby is far to closed shop.
