Everyone goes on about Charlie Adam but this guy was voted the clubs player of the season which says alot when Adam gets all the reviews. We think he would be great in the middle as he has a great passing ability and can also defend as well as attack down the winger/middle.

I would like to declare intrest in Marco Donadel. We feel he is the man to replace the void left by Sandro in the DM position.

Just because I declare intrest in a player does not mean I have to sign hm, that is silly.

It's just terminology Viva.

How it works is detailed on the article above and it was made quite clear that declaring your interest meant you were committing. It was to stop managers declaring an interest in everyone.

If it makes you feel better, I can change the terminology to "Offering a contract". Not that it will make any difference to the rules and the fact that you are committing to signing a player.

You have to sign him. If you don't want him, then you can sell him or release him for half value.

Stoke are delighted to express the signing of Angelo Palombo, a fantastic DM who has proved he is at the top class range. I am glad to say he will be in the first 11 and hopefully play all 9 games this season if he does not get injured. We are also looking for a new captain and Palombo has ticked all the boxes.

I can see 6 great years from the lad as our first teamer and maybe captain, anyone else joining the team would not get any matches for us ever even if we had inuries because I have Makon who is probably as good as Essien but had a difficult start in England. I value Makoun at £15m and I hope he can show the form he showed at Lyon because he would be brilliant and I can't see anyone taking his place in the team except Palombo. So if anyone wants to join my team be prepared not to even make the bench because I have brilliant players who play as DM or box to box because I forgot Barton. So if I was you I would join some other team.

Extending the deadline might help, because they might mvoe somewhere IRL

Why you extending it? Rules are rules, we all knew Nick was away for a week so we should have extended it then. Do you really think he will bid for any of them players?

We put the date until the Tuesday because we knew he was on holiday and this would give him a couple of days to go for any players he wanted. He was on holiday when we decided this so it wasn't like he could get someone else to do it for him.

Now if he is ill, my view is that the fixtures won't start yet, and there is no harm in extending the window to allow him a fair crack at the players. It's trying to be fair to all managers.
