Gable is money imo, I can see him being a very big star for WWE over the next decade.

I'm not ready or willing to vote for Gable and Jordan. Have they done better work than Kidd over 18 months? Not for me.
Ambrose and Kidd.

Re: V2 WWC 1st Round Group F
Ambrose is the obvious one.
Kidd getting injured wont do him any favours. His standout work was with Cesaro but when he was the vain, under-appreciative husband to Natalya was great. I remember him tweeting about himself during her Survivor Series match. I need to take his 6 month injury into account though.
I wanted to vote for Okada because of EWA, but havent seen enough to make a valid call on it.
Cant vote for Sting either.
Charlotte has been good but there have been better this year. So cant vote for her either.
Comes down to G&J and the Wolves. Outside of a decent tag series in TNA I cant really comment on the Wolves. Where as Gable and Jordan have only been around a short time, but I've enjoyed them alot.
Its a three way dance right now between Kidd, Wolves and G&J. Tough vote, but I think im going for Chad Gable and Jason Jordan.

Re: V2 WWC 1st Round Group F
A quiet 2015 for Okada has included two stand-out singles matches with AJ Styles. Okada also works in the 6-man and tag-team matches that New Japan so often include as "rests" for their top talent. But, if he only competed in one match, the WK 9 main event versus Tanahashi would get him instant access to a vote. And we've not mentioned his 2014 G1 run. Amazing athlete, amazing wreslter, the Rainmaker has IT.
I rate Charlotte a lot higher than most. I tend to think that a lot of people (rightly) say she's at the top of the women's tree because of her father. But they tend to completely downplay her ability. While not as good as Banks and Lynch, she's still good.
Sting was awful at Mania and great at NOC. I didn't understand the WWE commentary burial of him at Mania, but the guy went off the top rope at NOC. Amazing to watch, one of my stand-out moments of the year, but one match does not make a CV.
I've always liked Kidd. I don't think he was carried by Cesaro, and that shows how good he is. But that run was sadly halted by injury. If not, he'd probably have a vote.
The Wolves are great. I mean really great. They are one of the top 4-5 tag teams in the world right now.
If you've not seen the NXT Gable & Jordan tag match from 28 Oct against Gargano and Ciampa, switch on the Network now. Another 6 months of work and they'd have a vote, but I think this is just too early to vote for them against the competition who've been delivering for the full 12 - 18 months.
Dean Ambrose. He's been hit with bad writing after bad writing by WWE. Pushed up and down the card. Given hokey endings to matches. He had that huge run of losses. And yet he's still over. He shouldn't be, given how they've positioned him. I think that says enough. WWE won't pull the trigger on him, but I think he'd be a star if they did. He squeezes my 2nd vote ahead of the two tag teams.

Re: V2 WWC 1st Round Group F
I struggled to decide my 2nd pick, like most Ambrose is first pick for me.
I like Gable and Jordan, but really they've only been around for 3 months. And even then, Jordan has shown little personality and Gable has a personalised tea-towel. Wrestling wise they're superb.
Went for Tyson Kidd based on the last 12-18 months, rather than the last 5 months.

Re: V2 WWC 1st Round Group F
Okada is an easy first vote for me, he's had some outstanding matches this year both in singles and tags (which is unusual for an top NJPW guy), the highlight of which was the WK main event which was a bonafide ***** classic, every year he grows more and more into the position as New Japan's top guy and this year more than ever he feels like the man in the company
In terms of people I can chop from the list, Sting hasn't done enough for me, The Wolves are extremely talented guys but suffer from being a tag team in TNAs almost non existent tag division, they've done some good work but not enough to get a vote, Charlotte for me has fallen some what and is my 4th favourite of the horsewomen, Gable & Jordan are a very good up and coming team, particularly Gable who I think will be an excellent wrestler at worst if not a star, but they've only been around for a couple of months and Jordan was hardly setting the world alight prior to becoming ready and willing
This leaves me with Kidd & Ambrose, it's tough because I really like Ambrose but I'm going to have to go with Kidd, his heel work in NXT was excellent, as well as the team with Cesaro, the guy has shown that he has charisma to go with his excellent in ring skills and was one of my favourites prior to his injury, so he gets my number 2 vote

Seriously man, if Okada doesn't make it past round 1 on a competition of who's delivered the best work in the last 12-18 months, I expect this whole thing to be called null and void.Dr Gregory House MD wrote:Okada is an easy first vote for me, he's had some outstanding matches this year both in singles and tags (which is unusual for an top NJPW guy), the highlight of which was the WK main event which was a bonafide ***** classic, every year he grows more and more into the position as New Japan's top guy and this year more than ever he feels like the man in the company

Re: V2 WWC 1st Round Group F
Gable and Jordan are one of my favourite things in wrestling right now so they just edged Charlotte (the weakest of the four horsewomen) and Kidd who had a good period of time but injury has hampered him in getting my vote
I don't watch njpw so can't comment on Okada, sting had a decent year but I've never been a fan if his, and the Wolves have been good without being spectacular due to a lack of teams to face

Re: V2 WWC 1st Round Group F
I've gone for Okada and Ambrose.
Okada because even though I've not seen too many of his matches, but every one I have seen I've wanted to watch again straight away.
Ambrose because I guess I've had so much exposure to him,and although his character seems to be going nowhere,he always delivers a solid showing.
I'd have probably voted for Kidd if he was still active, the tag run with Cesaro was quality.

Re: V2 WWC 1st Round Group F
Voting is closed for today
We have a very happy Hero tonight as the Titty Master himself Dean Ambrose books his place in the next round with 19 votes
In 2nd place Kazuchika Okada pipped Charlotte Flair with 8 votes, adding quite possibly the most prestigious accolade yet to the Rainmaker's fledgling career
The V2 WWC resumes tomorrow with Groups G & H

I'm hoping he has a good showing in the current WWE tournament to get him back in the flavour of the month voting.
