Don't be like that Dicey. We should embrace him at this time of the year.
Nando, do you have Now TV or Sky Movies On Demand? They have Die Hard 1 and 2 on there at the moment. What TV channels do you have access to?
We will help you pop your Die Hard cherry.

Re: 6CW Chat v9
I haven't Die Hard yet this Christmas, I watched Home Alone yesterday though which is my second favourite xmas film.
I agree on with a vengeance as well, I prefer the first one, but it's a good film in its own right and something a bit different from the first two. Didn't mind 4.0 but I've not been able to bring myself to watch the newest one based on the reviews I've heard

I feel like we need to set up an appeal...for only £2 a month you can help poor people like Matthew to see Die Hard and bring joy to a home at Christmas.

True but there are many people out there who haven't seen it...and some who try to convince people it's not a Christmas film despite it being more of a Christmas film than bloody Frozen.

Frozen isn't a Christmas movie its a movie with snow in it, big difference, the early Harry Potter films have a Christmas feel about them though

I've had the Christmas film debate with people before, it's set at a Christmas party, it snows and let it snow plays over the closing credits. I don't see how it isn't a xmas film.
I've never actually seen Frozen though

It's like saying March of the penguins is a xmas film because there is snow in it, unless the film is based around or has Xmas in it it isn't a Christmas movie

I don't think many people are saying Frozen is a Christmas film though. The whole plot of Frozen is there's a blizzard in the middle of summer!

It was released around Christmas so most would see it as a Christmas movie, misguided fools

Vengeance was the best Die Hard but Rickman trumps Irons in the baddie stakes. I thought Die Hard 2 was rubbish myself. Glad they got their act together for Vengeance.

Love Die Hard but Die Hard with a Vengeance is my favourite out of the series...not many movies where the third in the series is the best one haha.
I love the third one but have to disagree about it being the best in the series. The first one for me is the action film of the 80's, absolute class and even moreso when you take in to account that Alan Riickman was nothing more than a bit part actor on TV before landing the Hans Gruber role. Then when you think about some of the stand out moments. the corpse in the lift, dropping a computer monitor strapped to c4 down the elevator shaft, crawling through vents, the end with the gun taped to his back, Ellis being killed (best part of the movie :p), at the end were Al guns down karl and thats just scratching the surface of the movie. It is so good, don't get me wroing I love the chemistry be tween Willis and Jackson in Vengeance, but its not a patch on the original for me, plus there is no plot without the first one
Just my thoughts though lol

Whichever Viper, I remember when Max first joined 6CW and we faced each other the first week I think and I promo'd on a plane to the venue and Marky sent Dicey to Africa in his promo as Max switched the tickets or something but I rolled with it and the rest of the B&F was great fun

Re: 6CW Chat v9
hahaha that's amazing!
Off the top of my head with Liam Wood I once did a promo at a comic book convention where he was looking for Thunder and found a guy selling fake EWF figures and with one thing leading to another he ended up fighting a load of people dressed like Super Hero Characters. I also did a promo which started with Wood being forced to do a bath product commercial for The Authority when he was in the palm of their hands.
With Stevens most of his 6WF stuff was dark and depressing but he had quite a few promos that took place in pubs and gyms where he ended up in part of a brawl that was part of his own making. The Make A Wish one I did last week might top the list as it ended up with him kicking Santa in the balls.
With Brandon Perez nearly ever promo is weird/funny (to me anyway ) I think the one today might be the best example though and I feel like it might have inspired the question...or is that just a nice coincidence?

Re: 6CW Chat v9
Its great when you are promoing with or against someone of similar humor and you both just know anything goes, Dicey has had some great adventures with Max especially during the Team Phenom "Bodyguard Idol" days and with Lex when they tagged as Pink Potato
Probably the weirdest thing to happen in show was when Dicey beat Steel for the TV Title, Magically Betsie became human and came down to the ring and assisted Dicey for the win Dubs was just starting out in charge and didn't realise Betsie was a 2x4 hahaha

Oh god! That's great...you up for a B&F? I'll be posting a stand alone promo at some point but I'm up for a B&F to get people hyped for the match. No offence to any of the other matches and maybe I'm biased but I feel like the Dicey/Wood match is one of the biggest selling points for the PPV.

We didn't get many or any examples of Dubs losing the plot (figuratively and literally by the sounds of things). It does sound like the older editions of the Feds have had more comedy in.

It was like the old ECW back in the day and there was a lot more freedom in the fed at the time because we had our own site and 6WF was on the BBC 606 board and heavily modded, it was fun

That's sensational, closest I came to a moment like that was when Mr Squiggles (a man in a Squirrel costume) came to Hero's aid in one of his matches, before Hero revealed he's not a real person, but a figment of Hero's imagination haha

Can't think of anything really funny happening.
Although Faith was called Nay Bother for a whole year because i couldnt think of a name i liked when i created him.
No one really questioned the bizarre name.
He did superkick Jedward at the Princes Street hogmaney party in front of the Hoff. Not sure why an irish pop act and an American actor were at an scottish hogmaney party but hey

Re: 6CW Chat v9
I think the funniest thing I ever remember gazzy being involved in wasn't anything I written but a Dicey promo. It was after I had been wrote out through injury and it transpired that Dicey was the one who took him out. I remember one of his promos had Dicey on countdown and it was gold, one of my favourite promos I've read. It was all around Dicey being stalked by a coded message that was marked Gazzys return and it was brilliant. So I wasn't directly involved per se but was certainly in relation to the character
