As soon as you're born they make you feel small
By giving you no time instead of it all
'Til the pain is so big you feel nothing at all
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be
They hurt you at home and they hit you at school
They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool
'Til you're so Frak crazy you can't follow their rules
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be
When they've tortured and scared you for 20 odd years
Then they expect you to pick a career
When you can't really function, you're so full of fear
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be
Keep you doped with religion, and sex, and T.V.
And you think you're so clever and classless and free
But you're still Frak peasants as far as I can see
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be
There's room at the top they are telling you still
But first you must learn how to smile as you kill
If you want to be like the folks on the hill
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be
If you want to be a hero well just follow me
If you want to be a hero well just follow me

England have gone for the safe option all the time - Hodgson, McClaren, Lancaster, Moores etc. Seems to be a sea change started by the appointment of Bayliss for the cricket.
England are at a disadvantage in terms of coaches because there are so many lucrative options as far as TV work for the best players, particularly in football and cricket. You look back to the RWC 2003 side, how many of them are coaches now?

I was glad when they invented Space Food Sticks and Jupiter Bars at the time.
These days they just don't taste the same. Too much emulsifier E471 now days.

Yeah, I reckon you still have too many specialist coaches for many sports. Probably got worse in the build up to the Olympics. Best keep it simple.
All you need now is Llyeton Hewitt down the track and then you could have the three major sports covered. Must admit I feel a little sick and proud at the same time. Quite an uneasy yet somehow good feeling and I'd better get used to it.
Not sure if it would work the other way though - us Aussies mostly perform better using our own home grown folk. We prefer less polished coaches with that mongrel element. I mean look at Micky Arthur and Robbie Deans... they were unable to produce any real spark amongst the players.
It actually divided the players more I'd say. The sporting public here hated it. I didn't mind Robbie but he's a typically stubborn yet conservative mid-Canterbury farmer type... not a roughie from the sticks or whatever it is we crave.

Re: The Culture Cup Round x - Adam is a naughty naughty boy
Morning all, my mate bought the SLAYER Xmas jumper and was wearing it when they played in Leeds, he was sweating buckets and wouldn't take it off in case he lost it. Apparently it cost him a fair bit...twunt!
Anyway, one of the girls who looks after my children at Nursery had her Xmas jumper on. It had little bells sewn on it and she decided to demonstrate their effectiveness by first jumping up and down in front of me and then giving me a little shimmy. She has tremendous breasts and I have to say that I f*cking love Xmas now!!!!!!!!!!
She's about 21-22 and probably as dirty as f*ck. My desire to sleep with her is tempered by the fact that there's now way she could keep her mouth shut about it and I'd be forced to kill her. Not normally a problem, but the children like her.

I love you Jeff. Ours was last week and I didn't wear one as I don't own one and wasn't going to buy one. I was told I would have to do a forfeit because I didn't wear one but I told them to f**k off and go hang about in the background of a Wham video.
I then left the office party early after walking away with first prize in the quiz and went home, drank some Brewdog Red Ale and watched the new series of Peep Show. A great night.

Wouldn't wear it Rick. I am not grouchy. I genuinely enjoy Christmas enormously, but dressing like a bell end is not my idea of fun. Same goes for novelty ties. They're not amusing, they're not attractive, you just look like a pr!ck wearing one.

Someone had a Christmas card for me but said they didn't bring it in just in case I got offended. The girls nice but dim so I let it slide to save myself a headache and just wave it off. First time that's ever happened to me.
Re: The Culture Cup Round x - Adam is a naughty naughty boy
I'm with ROWLEY (and obviously Tina) on this one. Xmas jumpers are for children and women. Jolly old grandfather types are allowed to wear one but when I see men (particularly those in their 20's and 30's) wearing them and especially when they clearly spent all day shopping for it specifically, I want to beat them to death with a log from the fire (lit or unlit, I'm not fussed).
It's all part of this "forced jocularity" (I was going to put "gaiety" but feared Sean would get confused) that I can't stand as if putting on a gaudy jumper will somehow make being in the company of strangers as well as the c*nts you work with somehow more bearable.
Haha look at me, I'm wearing a wacky jumper, aren't I brilliant?
No, you c*nt, you're not, now f*ck off before I glass you!

Went to the Lidl for a change of scenery last night. A supermarket trip tends to be the highlight of my day. They've got some bloody good wine in there at good prices. Picked up some bottles of white Pinot Grigio for £8. Pi55es all over your bog standard Echo Falls / Jacobs Creek crap.

It may have been a hand drawn illustration of the Prophet Muhammed in a jaunty Christmas hat...

I'm in hysterics at the very thought rick. I might take a replica gun with me just in case to complete the whole scenario.
Re: The Culture Cup Round x - Adam is a naughty naughty boy
You should have said, "The only thing that offends me is people saying "Happy Christmas" instead of "Merry Christmas" Now, I appreciate you heathens like your quaint traditions but do try and ensure you don't annoy any more people than absolutely necessary."ShahenshahG wrote:Someone had a Christmas card for me but said they didn't bring it in just in case I got offended. Followed by "The rivers will run red with the blood of the non-believers"....and then make that deranged yipping noise that seems to amuse and terrify in equal measure.
