Joshua/Whyte ppv figures
Dan Rafeal has said(and almost confirmed by Matchroom) that the recent ppv did 400,000 buys
Is this more or less then you expected?
Its safe to say AJ will be a ppv fighter from now on

400,000?
Surely not
That's ridiculous, Cotto-Martinez did worse than that and that was a big HBO PPV
Like I'm actually shocked it did that well
How good did the 2 Froch-Groves fights do
But yea Joshua is gonna on PPV more often than not can imagine
Surely not

Hearn confirmed fat Dan's numbers, its all true mate.
From memory Froch Groves 1 did 200,000 and the rematch did 800,000

Re: Joshua/Whyte ppv figures
Shows that heavyweights will always be the main pull in boxing
This was a domestic fight, nothing more with an alright undercard but nothing spectacular
If Joshua can get 400k against a nobody like whyte imagine a fight with haye/fury etc

Re: Joshua/Whyte ppv figures
Can't compare our ppv numbers to the American ones they pay double and sometimes even triple us
However hearn did say it doubled their estimates so yeah probably
Matchroom shows appeal to the masses
Warrens card on the weekend couldn't sell 4000 tickets

That's very good if true.
Good for UK boxing as long as they stack the cards.

If Dan Rafael and Hearn say the ppv figures are true then it must be

Depressing, at least there is some light. It seems Haye is back on the scene poised to kill PPV again.

That's huge for a British title fight between two relative novices.
