Munster vs Leinster
A lot of young players with a point to prove in this game. Garry Ringrose already impressing!

Ringrose was superb in setting up Nacewa. But now Keith Earls is down in a lot of pain... not getting any easier for Schmidt with all these injuries but at least there are young players putting their hand up.

I'm quite confused about what happened... is it a concussion injury? The stream I am watching isn't great.

I don't know tbh. It looked innocuous when he went down but it seems to be a serious one.

I can actually see Garry Ringrose in the Six Nations squad now, if he can have a strong 2nd half.

Would be good to see Ringrose, Marshall and McCloskey in there. Looks like both Earls and Payne are doubtful for the tournament.
I also think Luke Fitzgerald has a good chance of starting for us in the centre.

These TMO checking are getting tedious at best.
Is it allowed to jump into tackle now?

Munster are being outwitted and outfought at the breakdown, Leinster have absorbed an incredible amount of pressure. Great away performance from them.

Munster are an utter shambles at the minute..
Impressive performance from Leinster nonetheless, Cullen showing he is by far the better apprentice coach.

That is an awful result for Munster at Thomond Park.

Re: Munster vs Leinster
I don't really agree Pot. Munster may have controlled the possession and played the game in Leinster territory, but Leinsters organisation was fantastic, they defended very well and they won a whole host of brilliant turnovers in their own 22. Munster, on the other hand, were pretty unimaginative and were easy to defend- not to mention that Munster lost key line outs, knocked balls on, dropped passes, threw a needless intercept etc. etc.
Really they got what they deserved, but its hard not to feel bad for them at this stage. Not so bad I want to see them taking anything from Ravenhill but still!

I think its unfortunate given the quality of natural midfielders coming through that Fitzgerald's name is even coming up - he basically has a whole media campaign behind him, every time he does a side step or half break the pundits wax lyrical about him.
His distribution is very poor, he hasn't got great pace and defensively he's missing more tackles than he used too. His versatility makes him, like Earls, a reasonable bench option but for me he's got too many holes in his game to be a starter in any one position especially in the midfield.
