Re: Munster vs Stade Francais
For anyone wondering why Munster are in black, last week they were meant to be in their away strip in Paris but brought the red strip by mistake. So Stade wore their away kit last week, and today they are wearing the colours they would have wore in Paris under normal circumstances.

Yes! Munster score via a driving maul.

Re: Munster vs Stade Francais
Get in Munster, good old fashioned forward maul over the line for the try. Never tire of watching tries like that. Keatley misses the conversion.

He does Nathan, much better player on the wing than at 13.
Munster are showing some passion but the decision making and execution from Murray and Keatley needs to improve if Munster are going to win this.

Re: Munster vs Stade Francais
Murray frustrates me, he's a gifted player but sometimes spends to much time complaining to the ref, his first thought should be just to get it out ASAP.eirebilly wrote:He does Nathan, much better player on the wing than at 13.

On form he is up there with the best 9's in the world but when not on form can look very ordinary. No need to kick away so much ball, Munster may be on the back foot in the scrums but the forwards have the edge in open play and mauls.
Good luck to Leicester tonight Nathan although you wont need it

Cheers billy although I'm sure we will, we tend to be very up and down and opulent be surprised if tonight was a down moment.

Re: Munster vs Stade Francais
I was failing to see how Munster were going to go about breaking this Stade team down, but then a moment of individual brilliance- superb from Earls to exploit the missed tackle.

Fabulous try from Zebo, great kick from Keatley. Could Munster really help the Tigers out?

Correct decision that. Should be aware that an opposing player may jump even if he was keeping an eye on the ball. Yellow card.

Aw no, that is the worst possible way to lose 7 points!
Especially after such great defence to get them into touch in the first place.

Again I hope that this Earls performance in defence makes some people realise that he is a good defender and not a speed bump.

Don't you have to come through the gate when clearing out? Stade seem to be continually coming around and clearing out from the side?

Re: Munster vs Stade Francais
Massive win for Munster, Stade miss out on a LBP as well so they will have o go at the Tigers to stay in the competition.
Decision making an execution from Murray and Keatley greatly improved in the 2nd half. Stander, what can you say, deserved MoTM.

Re: Munster vs Stade Francais
Great win for Munster and just the shot in the arm they needed.
Leicester fans will be happy with them too, as they should now qualify after they hammer Treviso this weekend.
Stander has to put Heaslip on rocky ground for 6N selection. Led from the front.

This should be good though. That's the big hope Marshes. That was the performance that we all know Munster can produce but they need to be more consistent. I think that Earls try just before the break lifted the entire team as after the break they were excellent.

Re: Munster vs Stade Francais
I think it was TJ who was saying the competition is pretty much over and there will just be dead rubbers now in the pools. Evidence from this game, the Exeter game and the Ospreys game tells a difference story.LeinsterFan4life wrote:This should be good though.
