Fury-I am quit boxing

Can't see this happening, but would be very disappointing -and that's coming form one of his biggest critics. Firstly the division is already descending back into chaos, and with the retirement of the linear champ, another paper champ gets thrown into the mix, and secondly some potential good all British scraps are out the window.

Not sure what to make of that TBH
I saw it on BBC this morning, publicity stunt maybe?
He is on top of the world and nothing he does now will be able to top that night, but there are still some massive nights ahead for him
Fury is numero uno now, lots of money to be made, him vs Wilder is a dream fight

Re: Fury-I am quit boxing
Fury has threatened to quit boxing more times than Trusscargo has threatened to leave this forum. It is not going to happen
Boxing needs Fury and he needs boxing. Once he has beaten Wlad again I would say take on Wilder, beat Haye just to have the name on the record (while taking a 70-30% pay in his favour) and then retire unless he fancies a fight with Joshua who will probably get sparked by then if the Whyte fight is anything to go by

I hope he doesn't quit. Just hope he doesn't give the injury prone diva a payday.

Did you not see the way he beat that P4P top Australian the other day
Haye has power and now he is back to save heavyweight boxing
Fury is ducking him now...

I wouldn't bad mouth a warrior like Mr Haye. He is back for the glory, not the money.

Fury is a disgrace. He's either ducking GGG or Kell Brook!

There's more chance of Lance Armstrong getting his Tour de France titles back than Fury quitting, its absolute bull.

Thanks for pointing that out Dave, - I noticed it once I had posted it, but couldn't work out how to edit it.

I couldn't careless about him giving people paydays, but I do want to see him fight Haye. Whether you like the man is irrelevant, either we want ranked fighters to fight each other, or we watch them squash tomato cans whilst they each claim that the others are ducking them.

Well as long as Haye doesn't pull out, I would be happy to see Fury give him a good hiding.

To be honest it could turn out to rival Harrison v Williams for the least exciting HW fight ever, both on the back foot throwing and missing pots shots- maybe you're right and we should hope it doesn't happen.AdamT wrote:Well as long as Haye doesn't pull out, I would be happy to see Fury give him a good hiding.

I can understand if he is lacking the motivation after he has achieved his dream of winning the world heavyweight titles but I thought motivation to unify the division would be there for him

Re: Fury-I am quit boxing
I don't see Gaye v Fury ever happening.
Gaye needs a few fights and I think 1 year 2 good opponents and Gaye will be ready to face a champion but if Gaye continues to face geezers like Mori then Gaye will never get a shot.
Gaye needs to be serious now.

Re: Fury-I am quit boxing
I don't bully people I only tell the truth to those who it turns out are incredibly weak minded and sensitive about their own shortcomings and seeking to deflect attention away from their own woeful inadequacies by accusing others of bullying.
Look at ONETWO, his head's as empty as a support meting for those suffering from memory loss but he masks the fact his brain is so poorly attended by accusing others of racism.

Fingers, butt out...no, not in that way Fingers, in, no, not fingers in butt...oh forget it.
Dear Adam, I'm may very well be too manly for you (to be fair, Duty probably is as well), but I don't go for all that "Cristiano Ronaldo hiding (badly) a deep dark secret with his thrice weekly trip to Morocco to stay at his "friends" house" level of personal manscaping and metrosexual obsession with levels of body fat and grooming products. Still, I'm glad you're not upset about how mean a person you are anymore...progress at last

You are allowed to say if you think someone's gay.... Unless of course that is against house rules? Like you're not allowed to talk about going fishing in a stream at the weekend as the big red alert button goes mad for the mods over one of those words.
