I did get some subliminal message from the podcast that a promo posted 10 mins before show posted is maybe a bit late.

I find that while the schedule of 2 weeks is perfect for efedding and life, its a nightmare for promos as i have two weeks to think of things to say and things to do and ideas for promos and i end up with an abundance of stuff.

Last minute helps me focus on what i actually want to do. Its rhe same reaon i really struggle if someone tells me to go first in b&f.

When someone else goes mind is focused only the 3 hours to write instead of 17.

And Cassius referenced this in his next promo

Or Joshua vs Thunder vs Reborn - but there's no way Jones would let that happen. Unless he believes Thunder could actually beat Joshua - in which case, letting Reborn cash in his GtG here dilutes the odds

I can't envisage an angle that will get us towards a title unification in 7 weeks so I'm counting that out.

As for Cassius, Marshall, Scorpion and O Callaghan... I have literally no idea for any of them.

The guys who have all taken most disliking to Cassius are all tied up in bigger things at the moment
Maybe Cassius & Marshall's egos will get the better of them at Aftermath and set them on a path against each other - though one would surely have to convert to face?

Could O Callaghan rise to an International Title match in the space of 7 weeks? Feels like he could be a good foil for Crimey just as an initial assessment.

Wouldn't even begin predicting the Xtreme division.
If that was to disperse you've got 4 more guys of obscene quality knocking about.
Part of me is wondering if they may have to co-exist to save their division.
A survivor series style Xtreme match against 4 handpicked guys - if they win the Xtreme championship survives, if not then it's gone

Cerberus & Dicey & Engel & Costello vs Lex Hart & Perfect Jack & Mike Masters & Cassius??

There is a lot of loose ends to tie up that's for sure, but Aftermath has a habit of doing that the last few ppvs.

Scorpion, Marshall and Cassius all have 6wf ties. Crime Lord too. Why not an invasion storyline? It means their can be a major storyline that could involve around titles too. There might not be room for another faction however.

The division that needs a bit of new blood is the UK scene. Is this beneath the likes of Marshall and Zhi? Marshall is one of the best known European champs so possibly not. Crime Lord could do with some people in the mix for the International too so it's not just Masters, especially if he then goes to ME.

There are a lot of strong characters that could go for titles or be strong enough to have feuds away from that and the Forgotten stuff. The diversity and strength is quite intimidating now.

The Xtreme division is the most interesting one. I doubt it will be scrapped because leaves a few people in limbo. But maybe it will be allowed with certain stipulations.

Away from all that is the power players in charge of 6cw. I think Jones is losing control a bit, Kramer is scheming and you have people in the history of 6CW ready for big returns.....we have Kelsey to start with.

I'll promo anything the guvnors want - but personally think there is no desire or reason for an invasion angle. I think it's been done in the past. And I don't think it would do anything for any of the ex 6WF guys characters.

It is a really strong roster - and has so much depth that I think you shouldnt worry about whether a particular title is beneath a particular character because you could be missing out on creating some really explosive, interesting divisions.

Who's your call for the next owner/general manager of 6CW, Twistathon?

Well I say Kramer but I said before he needs to be bankrolled by someone. Maybe he is a mole in the organisation?

Here's a question......Does a fed need a owner figure? It is just it always seems to end with the owner trying to get too much power and ends up setting up a group of wrestlers to protect him/her

To answer Twist's question,

I think you need an authority figure to make the matches and decisions
Then wrestlers have egos that will challenge those decisions
This will eventually get out of hand and need controlling
The dissenter(s) are usually seen as cool by the audience and any action taken looks interventionalist
Owner/manager becomes bad guy
I think it's a self-fulfilling prophecy

How did it work in the early 90's pre- "Mr McMahon"? wasn't it Jack Tunney who just made an announcement now and again? How did they sell the matches coming about? I can't remember.

They didn't have any really, the power of the commentators and people like Mean Gene sold it. First real authority decision that had a big impact I saw was Gorilla Monsoon restarting the Hart and Michaels iron man match.

I have been thinking about this over night, i think you do need an authority figure in 6CW. I mean if you take Joshua for example, If Tim Allan told him he was to defend his title against someone would he really just go ok thanks for the interview and heads ip.

The problem is how do you stop it going down the power struggle route all the time.

Exactly Nay, you end up through no fault of your own going down the power struggle route.

Would like to see a female GM. Maybe that's the way it's going with Kelsey coming back.

Over the winter to protect the tee off points, they move them forward, really shortening the holes anf makingbthe course easier . Tomorrow is the first competition when the are back tomorrow and can start to get my handicap cut.

Anthony Grace uses it. You don't have to drop anything unless you really want to freshen it up. I thought a vicious submission might suit him. What was Brocks UFC arm lock called? Began with K. Kumi or Kuri.

I quite like the Tazzmission because it's borderline legal. Does anyone use that? Or know what it's actually called?

Are submissions very frequent in 6CW?
It tends to be an e-fed taboo doesn't it? Unless it's in a submission match.

Why do more matches not end in submission.?

I think us e-fedders get very protective over our characters don't we. Bookers probably err on the side of caution and avoid "making a character look weak"
It's a tough one.
There should be more submissions
Also it makes it difficult for someone to come in with like a Ken Shamrock style character

But the opposite can work, if someone comes in witha submission finisher defeats everyone, imagine the boost when a character finally breaks out of it or passes out without submitting.

Used well it could be a pretty cool storyline, something different.

I actually based Marshall on Ken shamrock when I first created him, he had the ufc past and I tried to model some of the moveset on shamrock, I had the coquina clutch which isn't dissimilar from the tazzmission as a secondary finisher and the ankle lock as a submission finisher, but neither ever got used so after a few months I dropped the coquina completely.

I never had a problem with Marshall tapping out, despite his history, he tapped a couple of times when the ref wasn't looking and then went onto win, but it all added to the heel persona in my eyes

I think I might have been against Cassius tapping in the past. But then I did bring in the Tibetan Torture match specifically so submission could happen in an acceptable arena for everyone.

I would have no issue with it anymore.

You have characters, such as Joshua, Cerberus, you just couldn't imaging ever tapping. But I think they are few and far between - and is that any different to WWE? E.g Undertaker. Even Triple H taps now and again (doesn't he??). And those are the matches where you sell it that the Ken Shamrock type has to bring something different out of the locker to win.

Also - on Nay's idea. For you were going to give a new guy that push, you would have to be sure they are a stayer. So in reality it would have to be someone old coming back as a new character I think - like an O Callaghan. It has to be someone you know will use it!
