Daughter is at her mum's today for Easter so I'm just chilling out, eating chocolate egg, waiting for India vs Australia in the cricket.

I'm looking forward to Aussies vs India later but I've no preference at all who wins.
I do love the afghans pis5take of the West Indies celebration though

Re: 6CW Chat v10
They just bring a smile to your face don't they? Love Afghanistan.
I wouldn't want to do that jumping bum-bump thing with Mohammed Shazhad though - might end up getting hit for six myself
I'm behind India
It's better for the tournament seeing as no other fans can get in
And I've got a tenner on Kohli to top score in the tournament.

They're a very decent side, definitely added something to the tournament.
I'm not sure about their leg spinner Rashid though, good bowler but no way he's 17? He'd pass for 35!

Re: 6CW Chat v10
Have you read "Out of the Ashes"? The book about them? I think it's a documentary too - not seem that though.
When the team started competing internationally, a load of them got ridiculous "official" birth dates because they had no official documentation when they applied for their passports and birthdays aren't important in Afghanistan. Can't remember the story but there was something silly like two brothers had birthdates that were biologically impossibly close together

Haha awesome
They're really a great sporting story. It's a shame world cricket is run in a way that they've reached as high as they'll be allowed to go now

Re: 6CW Chat v10
Not if they win the Intercontinental Cup
I'd rather them win it that Ireland
And I know test cricket ain't really their bag, but they could win a series against Zimbabwe couldn't they? I know the odds are stacked massively against them - but they'd have a shout!
Things would have to change if they were an official test playing nation.

I think the Afghans would shock a few in Test Cricket, just pull the rug from under everyones feet.

Martin Luther King was a famous civil rights campaigner
As was Rosa Parkes
Who wouldn't get up off her seat on a bus
But you'd never find Crime Lord on a bus
Because he gets a taxi
Cos Crime Pays!
You're welcome
