Final Fantasy
So, after a lot of umming and ahhing, I've bought the Final Fantasy X Remaster on PS4. I don't care about X-2.
I was looking at buying Final Fantasy Type-0, has anyone played it? And I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens with Final Fantasy XV, I've been waiting a long time for a decent game to come out after some of the let-downs.
Final Fantasy VII Remake could also be something special.
Any other fanboys on here?

Yes
Type-0 is rubbish, don't do it, wait for XV and VII remake and finish X properly with all the Limit Breaks and Dark aeons till fill the time

X was the last one I enjoyed. Nothing beats 7, but I did love 9. Never cared for 8 though.

Yeah there's not been a decent game since X for me, with the debatable exception of XII.
VII and X for me. I saw Type 0 on the cheap in Sainsbury's but saw mixed reviews so I've ordered X. I'm genuinely really excited. I will be getting XV at launch for sure.

8 was brilliant, I remember playing it and thinking "Graphics will never be better than this" lol but I loved the old style of 9, 7 will always be my favorite

When I have the time I want to go back and play 8. I would love if they did a remake of that too so I could just pick it up easy. 8 was visually very impressive, I think that may have been what put younger me off; it just didnt look like 7 or 9.

Re: Final Fantasy
was late coming into final fantasy, not sure why as i have always loved rpg's. think i must have been on zelda on the n64 in the early days. anyway i digress, the first one i played was x. and i loved it, never got round to going back to play 7 so the remake will be right up my street. i just hope they keep the turn based style. was always a fan of that over how the latter games were going.
been back and completed couple of the early remakes on the ds, cant remember which ones they were possibly 4 and 5. i didnt mind 12 even though it got panned. it was basically star wars story but i still liked it. wasnt a fan of x-2 and couldn't get into 13 at all. its the only FF that i haven't completed that ive started

Re: Final Fantasy
I started playing it last night, its the exact same game but they have upgraded the graphics quite considerably. So the turn based system etc remains. The music has also been remastered.
