Welcome back to the V2 Football Podcast!
In part 1: The lads wrestle with the idea of a European Super League or Champions League Wildcards. Do some clubs have a divine right to be in Europe's top competitions? Do fans just want to see the big clubs play each other? Is it footballing treason?
The FIFA election also gets tackled; will Gianni Infantino be a good President? Can he fix FIFA's ills? Or is it just another false dawn?
In part 2: The team looks at the Premier League goings on and asks the age old question; why are Arsenal such bottle jobs? After defeats to Man Utd's youth team and Swansea their title hopes hang in the balance yet again, but why does this happen season after season? Is it Wenger or the players?
Louis Van Gaal's United legacy is fiercely debated as well; has he done well to bring through the kids? Or was it just forced by injuries? Will they go on to do good things at United?
In Part 3: With only Arsenal faltering massively in the last round of European fixtures have English teams turned a corner in Europe? Are we taking the Europa League seriously? Could we have an all English final?
