Re: WWA Season 10 Homepage Chat
Very noble of you Gregers but I'm also at fault for having Chris Sabin compete so I think it's only fair that we share the blame.
Over the course of this afternoon, Fernando & I have been trying to sort out the issue so once my original punishment injury was removed, I thought it was only fair to re-draw and propose the idea to Fernando who agreed. I'm going to share the draw with you all so you can see what has happened...
Noam Dar
Samoa Joe
Jerry Lynn
Scott Dawson
Dash Wilder
Billy Kidman
Johnny Mundo
Mark Briscoe
Shane Douglas
Eddie Kingston
Awesome Kong
Nick Jackson
Sami Callihan
Becky Lynch
Jay Briscoe

So basically, Gregers & I have both been dealt an additional penalty injury, nXtreme have drawn Will Osprey and NGPW have drawn Noam Dar which has been updated on the Injuries page.

Still unbeaten yet in the relegation zone! I reckon that Markys vote saved us from defeat this week.
I'm guessing that the premise will be a loss no matter what for some people. But that was to be expected!

Feedback is currently sat in Tooze's inbox Samo. We decided to take turns to lighten the load by sharing responsibilities this season and unfortunately Tooze never added feedback to admin so me or Fernando can't speed things up by stepping in... We only have my feedback from this week there at the moment.
Just a reminder - Week 3 shows are expected this Wednesday so if you think you may struggle, now is the time to say so!

Could we possibly have an extension to Friday? I know Nay is going to struggle to do his parts due to family stuff and now I have some work things which are going to take up my evenings the earlier part of this week - we could certainly have it all done by Friday tho

Is there a punishment for late feedback posting? Really want to iron out the finer points of the next show but need to see what's working and not.
Re: WWA Season 10 Homepage Chat
I'd like to put my a name down for an extension just in case...was planning on getting the show finished at the weekend with feedback but obviously we've had to wait meaning my next chance to finish the show off is Wednesday due to me working a lot now and having other commitments but I might not get it done 100% so might end up being Thursday instead.

Re: WWA Season 10 Homepage Chat
WEEK 3 DEADLINE UPDATE
With the Bank Holiday now over with, I think it's thrown a few of you out of rhythm. Because so many of you have asked for an extension along with others waiting on feedback before deciding to make any final adjustments, I think it's only fair we extend the deadline until SUNDAY (8TH MAY). God knows what Tooze is up to with feedback, let alone pencilling a show in to meet the deadline so I think the extra time will benefit everybody here.
For those of you who post your shows early, you can only then request early injuries which will be PM'ed to you once you let us know. Seems like Tooze is online now so we could very well get feedback in some way, shape or form today.

- Spoiler:
- If you took this show out of the zombie setting and built it purely around the stories in and around the matches, it would still be bloody good. I like that Orton, Axel and Goldust are getting into it based around whos the better generational wrestler. The bit in the cafe was funny, and Im liking the whodunnit kinda feel about whos going to be next.
Slammerdale
While I still remain sceptical about the whole zombies/soap opera, no one can fault your storytelling ability. The Godfather swerve at the end, I did not see coming, I believed that he’d be a fair ref and that even maybe he was going to respect women, I tip my hat to you for that alone. Continued set up of the feud building with in the brits was also great. That being said I still hate the zombieness of the story but, that’s my personal issue and you shouldn’t allow that to sway your future plans.
Slammerdale - Enjoyed the show, continuation of the tournament and the crowning of a Women's Champion made sense. Another murder cliffhanger, who knew?! I thought the four tournament matches were quite underwhelming though, and could have been hyped up more as tournament matches rather than nothing, pointless ones.
Slammerdale
+++ Completely in love with the TV stylings of Slammerdale, the recap pushed us straight back in to the action and helped me believe having wrestlers on a soap TV set. The ending was amazing and I loved Orton taking out the Zombie with the hint that it was another murder. Gripped. Out of the non traditional wrestling shows this season Slammerdale is my favourite by far.
+ Enjoying the cracks in the British Faction and the hints of a 2nd Generation feud
+/- The qualifiers to this date have been slightly easy to guess who's going through BUT the right winners have probably been picked.
+/- Liked that the women main evented and I honestly thought a change was coming. I was caught off guard by the women's match but it ended up being about men once again.
- The card last week has Austin, Angle, Orton, Del Rio and Barrett. This card just didn't have as much of a wow factor.
SLAMMDERDALE FEEDBACK
On the whole, the overall walking dead storyline is moving at a nice brisk pace. Introducing a prelaude of Russo’s thoughts is quite interesting and the thought of Orton punting a zombie’s head clean off really made me laugh. Think both of you make great use of segments and I’m behind the alignment of Godfather & Jessica Havok. Moving onto the matches, they just kind of seemed there with no real purpose apart from the main-event and I think a bigger name being scarified may mean nobody is safe, just my opinion though.
WWR.
- Spoiler:
- Formatting issue as Kidd talked about beating Itami after losing to Itami. Other than that it was a very good show, The mystery hooded men are a nice hook and I loved the debut of Sting. Worked around the injuries very well, so good job.
W.W.R
++++ Loving the mystery Shadow Master and the man in the green hoodie. I had a few ideas but was caught out by it being Sting as I had assumed it would be Steven Amell/Mr Queen...I suspect the Green Hoody was to make us believe this? If so bravo
++ Enjoyed the use of The Wolves with their shock win, Super Dragon's return with his belt and ACH facing more legends but feel the International Title has begun to feel a bit less important due to ACH's run of matches against legends.
+ The masked man storyline has been done before but it works really well and I look forward to seeing more of it, it was also used really well to give Sting a win over Cesaro without making him look weak.
+/- Slight scheduling issues with Kidd's segment about claiming redemption by beating Itami being posted after the Itami match but this is the only set back in a great show
WWR - Decent show, Wolves beating Road Warriors was cool. ACH beating Rikishi was fine, ACH, Rikishi and the Uso's dancing was just garbage. I'll be doing the same if one of my tag team members is an injury so fair play with the handicap match. The rest of the show was fine but Cesaro tapping out in the main event to go after the mystery man was weird
XXX.
- Spoiler:
- Excellent match quality as always, even though the story telling seems a bit over loaded at times. I like what you're doing with Le Rae and Steen, Mastiff is a beast and I like the TV title situation, even if it was a bit predicatble. Good show though, thoroughly enjoyed it.
XXX - Great recap and opening, liked the TV Title split again, 3 TV champs into 1 next week will be good. Mastiff is a beast. Steen beaten down by The Temple was very cool. Scurll v Andrews another blinder. Daniels v Lee was fine, good underdog style end. I know Andy Williams is a wrestler but beating Bad Luck Fale clean (in fact with EC3 interfering) is weird. So was Candice LaRae making Gargano tap clean. Feels like a great first half of the show let down by the second half by the booking.
Triple X
So, there’s a lot going on in this weeks show that I want to comment on and I genuinely don’t know where to start, I know, in feedback I often ask where do I start but, this time I honestly don’t know where to start. I’ve reread it and know where to start. The thing I like the most is the character growth of Tommy End, in this one show alone, he went from wanting to send a message to, I want to do this alone and I liked that a lot. It showed the integrity of the character and tension in the Temple already and while the slow burn would have worked just as well, getting that quickly was great. After seeing Steen’s work I never thought, a face Steen could work but, you’ve done just that. When you told me about your plans for EC3 and Williams, I wasn’t sold but, want to see where that goes and the final thing I want to say about this show is, I should have seen a third TV champion coming but, I didn’t. What I saw was Taylor winning them one at a time so, something I didn’t see coming from you, yeah, need I say more?
XXX FEEDBACK
Some interesting dynamics coming off this week’s show. I’m enjoying Tommy End teasing resistance from Jim Cornette and his stable and the introduction of The Temple will be interesting to see how they fit in with two heel stables now featuring predominately. Think my biggest criticism on this week’s show has to be Andy Williams, I get that this is where storylines like this can happen but I’m just not that invested in seeing a musician in the ring.
SHAT.
- Spoiler:
- Felt rushed but an overall decent showing. Not sure im sold on the Benoit thing, not very comfortable with Trump basically forcing him to further injure his brain - think he would be better used if the whole unpleasentness wasnt brought into it. Interested to see where the NWO and the refs and the mega powers thing goes. You also got me to nearly not hate New Jack, so bonus point there.
SHAT - I'm a big fan of the use of Donald Trump, think he works very well as a heel GM. Dudleys v Vaudevillains was cool. The anti-Mexican thing doesn't need dodgy refs but an interesting concept. New Jack v Rhyno was okay but a little underwhelming. Hogan v Eddie was okay, looking forward to seeing what happened to Hogan. Controversial main event with Benoit being pushed to further concussion damage but again looking forward to seeing how it plays out.
S.H.A.T
++ Benoit was brutal, the match didn't quite deliver but everything around it did for sure. I feel there's much more to the story than has been told
+ Enjoying certain characters such as Hogan's 'voices', DDP trying to mentor Hardy and Trump being Trump.
+/- The tag titles didn't seem to have much of a build but it was cool to see the smaller team pick up the win
- Three title matches on one show took away the hype around all three
- - With a lot of shows to read and remember a recap of the week before would be brilliant to help us remember the key points and to get us back in the action, I found myself checking back to the previous show which disrupted the flow quite a bit.
S.H.A.T FEEDBACK
The Tornado Tag Championship offers a unique identity and the Vaudevillains head a pretty strong tag-division. I felt maybe a tournament or some kind of gauntlet may have been a better way to showcase the titles better. I’m not really sure what to make of Donald Trump and his alignment with Chris Beniot but I’m rooting for Sami Zayn in his feud with authority.
SHAT
Um, we get it, Trumps a douche. While your writing and story telling is there, I don’t feel your utilising it to where you could, your aloud ten points per match and 6 matches, adding those extra point would allow you to get the matches across with out them feeling rushed and the extra match would allow you an extra segment to get your story across. I liked the Hogan hearing voices thing and took that as him feeling torn between Hulk and Hollywood. Trump manipulating everyone he possibly could manipulate was a nice touch and the message that Trumps a massive douche came across loud and clear
nXtreme.
- Spoiler:
- Looking forward to seeing Hunter take nXtreme forward, still enjoy JBL in his role and look forward to seeing him get back in the ring. The stuff you're doing with Sabin is brilliant, he was a standout last season so big boots to fill. Another excellent show this week and definitely sets the bar. Keep this up and I can see you winning this season handily.
Nxtreme
+++ The Bullet Clubs debut was awesome and I look forward to seeing who the three masked men are
+ Love Triple H taking control straight away as it feels like a fresh direction to go, I also enjoy the cross brand stuff with NGPW being mentioned
+ Loved the build up to the women's tag match and that division with Trish, Asuka, The Princesses and now Banks, it's great to see them fighting and not being made in to a soap opera
- Although the matches were good I saw Gunner, Will Ospreay and Tyler Breeze going through from a mile away and would have liked more surprises in the qualifiers.
- - Once again a lot of long segments, with a lot of shows to read it can make the process drag having to get through them all.
nXtreme - Good opening, tournament match was a good start. Kingdom v Bullet Club was cool. The segments very well written once again. OSPREAY WON! Ahem, sorry about that. Breeze v Uno was cool. The Princesses v Trish and ? was always going to be Sasha but once again very well written. Asuka's help was cool. Great main event between Aries and Liger, building on the Aries/HHH story.
NXtreme FEEDBACK
Gregers does what he does best and that’s consistent storytelling. With Triple H featuring so predominantly I’m invested to see where this goes and I like the subtle little things like him evaluating JBL. Bullet Club vs Kingdom on it’s own could be an amazing feud but the mystery figures from Bennett’s past is intriguing. The tensions starting to build between HHH / AA could make an excellent PPV main-event.
S.E.X.
- Spoiler:
- Aside from Bayley trying to defend womens wrestling Im struggling to find positives. Non-sensical booking, 'dammit D-Lo' lights go out spots, Muhammed Hassan is effectively being raped and stereotyped. No a fan, rough reading.
S.E.X
+++ Another bra and panties match...oh wait I'm not 14 - - - Another bra and panties match. 2 in one show?!
+ Despite the rubbish stipulation and the reasons behind it he first women's match was really well done, in fact the matches throughout the show were all pretty well done.
+ The mystery man from the end of last weeks show struck again, looking forward to finding out who it is, I think.
+/- The incest angle made me laugh but most of the other comedy was just confusing or borderline offensive
- - - - The roster has some big names but they're being wasted.
- - - - - - - The main event, I get that this is a joke season but it was just weird.
???? The show is surreal and is probably really funny to other people reading it but for me it just doesn't really do it.
SEX - Interesting opening segment, Bayley unwilling to participate in degrading matches is a decent angle. Natalya v Kay Lee Ray was what it was. OMG Chyna and Muhammad gonna have sex leaving Shane and Steph I'm so startled! The mixed race championship is quite racist but then the Brooklyn Brawler getting involved was genuinely funny, as were the "You're not black" chants. Just need to clarify the next bit. Sandman called out Slater who brought out Ryback who faced Honma who was attacked by La Parka. Okay. Bayley quitting was cool. Edge v Rollins with no purpose was a bit of a waste, although intrigued to see where it goes from here. The main event was like a really bad WCW show. All kinds of nonsense with unnecessary abuse of NGPW thrown in. Well played.
S.E.X FEEDBACK
I must admit, I quite admire how you defied the negative feedback and answered back with even more of what they hate! The commentary before each match provided key details to get me invested in each of the matches. On the whole, things kind of felt a little repetitive at times with the same gimmick matches, walk-out and the lights going out. I think better use of adding an additional match may stretch things out a little longer.
NGPW.
- Spoiler:
- Really enjoyed this weeks offering from NGPW. Great use of talent including Balor, Ambrose, Lynch, Sabin and Cole. Very well written aside from a view grammatical errors Im going to put down to Autocorrect, but it was still easy to understand and digest. Keep it up, look forward to week three.
NGPW
See, this is why I had to pull the trigger on my second debut a week early. As expected, Enigma didn’t pull any punches. The set up for several feuds is great, my favourite being Ambrose/Bálor, turning Ambrose in to an insane heel works well for him and I look forward to the crazy options opened up to you. I’m not sure how I feel about Foley having to leave only a week after taking up the position but, you’ve probably got a swerve planned, maybe Dude Love can take up the reigns?
N.G.P.W
+++ Loving Dean Ambrose as a psycho in the feud with Balor, I like the Enigma is using the history between Balor and Lynch to show how far Ambrose will go and it's making it one of the feuds of the season for me.
++ Chris Sabin appearing is a cool twist, I like that cross brand stuff seems to be happening at the moment, loved the choice of opponent and how Enigma used their past in a different fed as part of his brand. I look forward to where Sabin turns up next if that's the plan.
+ The matches were all great, the main event especially but one thing I loved was Enigma finding a new way of doing something done millions of times before: The distraction roll up is so cliché it hurts which is what I loved about the ending of Ambrose and Dar, giving it a twist and a big win for Dar.
+/- The KTTK Ladder match is epic, the line up already will be hard to top. I'm not sure how Enigma makes the World Title match compete in terms of excitement.
- A World Title match is a big deal, a retirement match is a big deal but each show seems to have a title match and Foley only just had a retirement match that he lost. With Foley retiring at the final PPV and now 2 shows later it just didn't quite do it for me despite being well written. This for me was the deal breaker between possibly the best two shows of the week.
NGPW - Great opening segment, and great opening match. Surprised to see Dar win. Interesting to see the use of Sabin, and Neville looking strong. Kong bouncing back is great, looking forward to seeing the rematch for the title. Callihan winning the qualifier was cool. Ambrose attacking Becky was a great way to get at Finn, I look forward to their war. Cole v Foley was brutal, shame Foley lost again but there you go. Neville challenging Cole will be great
WAF.
- Spoiler:
- Vince McMahon not so subtley turning WAF into a new WWE is cool, looking forward to seeing some of the guys stand up and fight back. Booking Reigns like WWE should be booking him right now which I like. Some of the matches felt a bit short but everything was there for a reason and all the stories from last week were continued in some manner. Good show.
WAF FEEDBACK
Let’s kick off with the excellent Vince Promo. Really behind how Marky added realism to the promo and the direction the company want to head in. The tag team league as a very high calibre of talent so will be fun to watch unravel. I didn't really like the women’s title being retired, especially after last week’s match so feel a little sceptical of ‘Total Divas’. On the whole a good show but I just never felt CM Punk was ever in jeopardy of ever loosing.
++ Liking the tension between stars like Punk and Havoc with Vince and the look back at the troubles Punk and WWE had in the past.
+ I like the reveal of the tag league, will be cool to see what Marky does differently to the other tag ideas we are seeing this season. So far the 6 teams named are great and I loved the way Harper announced his team with the line about Blood. I would however say that there were probably too many tag matches on the show.
++/- Liked the reveal of Vince as the new owner and the Wrestling As Flip line was funny but we've seen Vince trying to make companies in WWA PG in the past with nXtreme doing it before. I do however look forward to Jimmy Havoc destroying these plans
+/ Not sure how I feel about Total Divas as I hate the idea of it in real life but will give it a chance
- The matches were lacking compared to other promotions which may end up costing the show points in the long run.
MWF.
- Spoiler:
- Strong opening and very good main event. Lot of care going into the matches even though im not a huge fan of the MWF rules for title matches. Lots of people getting showcased and a really good use of fairly unknown/indy talent. And Joe Coffey won, which is always a huge bonus In my book. Good show.
MWF FEEDBACK
It’s funny really because if you look at Tooze’s rosters from past seasons, he was pushing British talent that everybody is squabbling over today! I like how Tooze decided to pit to unknowns against each other to make a name for themselves and will be interesting to see how Tom Dawkins progresses. Another name that’s new to me, Joe Coffey, looked incredibly strong and could be booked to become a real monster inside MWF.
M.W.F
++ Loved Renfrews team, I loved how he put together a team he couldn't trust but who just wanted to fight
++ Having three matches in quick sucession was a cool change and made the show feel like a show that really cared about the wrestling while still involving storylines such as the masked man going after Swann. The quaterfinals also threw up some surprises keeping me guessing who would go through.
+ Exciting start to the show with the attack and a great way to make a match for later in the night
+ Nice to see the Women's Title given the same respect but maybe could have been put on later due to it being a title match
+/- No real negative points but at times not knowing certain stars doesn't quite get me as excited despite the writing being the best from MWF for a while
MWF - Decent recap and opening segment. Melissa was always going to retain with the Saraya match lined up, maybe that could have been announced this week instead of last week. Tozawa, Young and Dawkins winning their matches was fine, looking forward to the semi finals. Williams v Coffey was cool, good to see Coffey win, although Doug isn't happy and a rematch is happening it seems. The main event was brutal and bloody, although I'm not sure it was necessary in this situation. I suppose it was a bit of a nod to ICW which is fair enough.
EWA
- Spoiler:
- As with SHAT I felt it was a little too short for what you can do. I can’t pick a flaw in the show other than it was a little short. Even though it was short you did get your points across which worked out well. The Cena segment you wrote was great, it felt like old skool Cena which is good if a little unoriginal. My only real complaint is that, there doesn’t feel like there’s much going on story wise but, maybe your holding that back a little to surprise us, so, I’m not judging you on that.
E.W.A
++ Old School Cena was great and the effort in the rap just added the extra + great work!
+ I liked Team Heyman trying to recruit members but with obvious tension between those people already,
+ I'm also enjoying the influence Eli Drake is having on Grado
+/- - With WWR's Tag Dominance League and W.A.F's Tag League EWA's kind of falls to the back considering most of the teams aren't real teams and are just made up of random stars so isn't really doing it for me
- Most of the matches were short and could have had another match with only 5 being used, I'd also say that last weeks card was much better and Samo is going to struggle to top it even with his PPV.
EWA - Decent recap, and a solid opening match although Bo Dallas and Mark Henry are an odd pairing. Liked the Corbin/Lesnar tension. Swagger still a machine. Grado bouncing back is good to see. Old School Cena! Is this new or did I miss that last week? Either way, good to see the old Doctor of Thuganomics. Tag team match was okay. HBK segment was good. Not sure AJ Styles needed to be beaten by Big Show even with a distraction, I'd argue he needs building up more rather than showing weakness. Aftermath was good with Cena putting AJ through the table. Looking forward to next week which is never a bad thing.
EWA FEEDBACK
Overall, I don’t have any negative or productive comments to offer here, Samo produced a smooth show that was easy to digest with some really exciting storyline bubbling. As always some great storytelling and I’m already invested in HBK challenging Heyman’s authority and the prospect of Baron Corbin squaring off against Brock Lesnar. The tag team league is also a great idea and great way to put together mid-carders who perhaps get lost in the shuffle. Little & Large could be comedy gold!
- Spoiler:
- NGPW VS WWR Feedback
Though both shows had some excellent matches, I enjoyed the realistic brutality of NGPW that bit more. I also felt that though both Main events were a little hectic, The confusion behind WWR's took me out of it a little. Both shows great work, but for me NGPW edged this battle.
WAF VS nXtreme Feedback
I currently love what is happening in the WAF right now with Vince bringing in the PG era and the parody of current WWE with Reigns being Vince's champion elect etc. The matches were fun and some interesting combinations. nXtreme potentially chose the wrong week to lose vince to WAF as for me it was a real game changer in the dynamic of that show at a time where nXtreme begin there restructure under HHH...that being said I look forward to the coming weeks of nXtreme. Austin Aries vs HHH being a potential highlight.
EWA VS MWF
I think a lack of a big match with the star power at there disposal hurt the EWA this week. If I was a fan looking to choose between the two shows I would never buy tickets to that card. I enjoyed Thuganomic Cena. MWF had some great matches which I thoroughly enjoyed reading. It also had a great soft opening that set the pace. The only thing I would say is that two start of so brutal and go into a womens match was probably in my eyes a bad idea in terms of pacing but all in all MWF wins this for me.
XXX VS PWF feedback
What hurt us in our initial week was the lack of a real main event. Though the PWF put an original spin on there screwy finish, the main event was a comedy segment in what was otherwise a decent show. I think that lack of a big match at the end and the fact that XXX had some excellent contests pushed XXX over PWF. Excellent work by XXX this week and I look forward to the coming weeks.
NGPW v WWR
Both good shows, enjoyed WWR just that little bit more. Do think Thunder's is the easier one to read. More invested in Cesaro as world champ than Adam Cole and not a huge fan of authority figures also wrestling.
WAF v nXtreme
More interested in the wrestlers Marky has, think that Punk/Reigns is a great main event feud. Nxtreme suffers for me because of a lack of stars. Gregers might be going for it, but it feels very small time with Austin Aries being their biggest star.
EWA v MWF
Think EWA pips this time. Think big hardcore matches should be saved for PPVs. Loved the Cena rap.
XXX v S.E.X.
Got to go with Triple X here really, the S.E.X. just misses the mark for me completely. Weird ending, humour is very hit and miss. Viper's show is well-written and thought out. Not sure I buy Candice LaRae beating up the men though.
Again sorry about lateness

Really happy with my feedback and I do get the criticism of certain things so I'll work on that for the next show, hopefully can carry on the work...I think having two people call Mastiff a beast is my favourite bit because it means I'm booking him how I should!
As for Andy Williams, I know he's a musician and normally celebrities wrestling is tedious but I think when you see what he looks like it might help you get behind it a bit.

No issues with my feedback, you'll either love or hate WAF Total Divas which is fine by me!
Matches aren't going to be as long as others so not an issue if that's mentioned in feedback because it won't change

Re: WWA Season 10 Homepage Chat
Feedback very much appreciated as always. As this is only my second season I thought I would try and keep my shows a bit shorter as theres two more teams this go round so dont want to burn anyone out.
Dont want to give too much away before the PPV, Good things come to those that wait
