Aston Villa 3 - 2 Bolton
> Carroll, Forlan 2
> Di Natale, Hamsik

A very close game with both teams carving out loads of chances. But for me, Villa has the slightly more composed finishing to snatch the 3 points.

Everton 2 - 1 Tottenham
> Bent, Meireles
> Modric

Everton have certainly improved over recent weeks and this week showed as they were able to pull of a win again the team top of the league. Everton have a team IMO that can challenge for top honours next season.

Stoke 1 - 2 Sunderland
> Sandro
> Lugano, Adebayor

Quality told in this game as despite a valiant effort from Stoke, Sunderland were on top for most of the game and a winning goal from Lugano from a corner sealed the 3 points for Sunderland

Fulham 1 - 1 Liverpool
> Sessegnon
> Torres

Despite Liverpool on paper having a stronger team, Almighty has done well to improve his team especially in the midfield department and now looks much stronger. Only this for me would be to improve the fullbacks, Friedrich more CB, Jansen has been playing LM recently.

Aston Villa 1-0 Bolton
Sturridge

Equal game for majority of the game, a good game where both teams attacked and played good Football. It was late on in the game where the pace of Sturridge got the better of Bolton centre backs.

Everton 2-1 Tottenham Hotspurs
Bent---------Modric
Ramsey

Everton set thier stall brilliantly, I was impressed how M'Villa acted almost as athird centre back at times like Cambiasso did for Inter Milan. They deserved this game, they battled for every ball they played as a team and tactics were very good.

Fulham 1-0 Liverpool
Defoe

They scraped thier way, the centre mids were strong in the tackle and played the ball simple and it worked. Liverpool did put a lot of pressure but the thought of relagation made the Fulham players work till the end.

Blackburn 0-0 Birmingham

Not the best game, very little created with both teams being very strong in defence and not giving much away. Maybe on another day either team could have nicked a 1-0 but not today.

Aston Villa v Bolton 1-2
Forlan; Di Natale, Marin

Aston Villa seemed confused in their set-up with the midfield pushing forward a lot in the belief that they were covered by De Jong(?), but with no cover, they left themselves exposed. Bolton therefore enjoyed a lot of space in front of the Villa back four and Hamsik in particular exploited it. Villa did have their chances, with Forlan in particular enjoying it against 2 centre backs lacking in pace.

I also note that Bolton tactics make it look as though they had seen the Villa tactics prior to submission, although I did not consider this when deciding my result.

Everton v Tottenham 1-1
Bent; Gilardinho

A great game from two great teams. Both teams are packed with players who play proper football and the ball will be enjoying a hard earned rest today after being passed to death. Bent enjoyed sucess against two slower centre backs today, whilst the experience of Gilardinho enjoyed some success against two relatievly inexperienced centre backs.

I enjoyed less fun reading the Everton tactics which were as wordy as I have ever seen

Stoke v Sunderland- My Match

Fulham v Liverpool 0-3
Torres 2, Gerrard

A tactical nightmare for Fulham today. Cattermole and Rodwell were too inexperienced to dominate a game against De Rossi, Fellaini and Gerrard. Cattermole got stuck in early, but De Rossi was too good for him and Cattermole eventually got himself sent off for 2 yellows.
The Liverpool front line had a field day against Skrtel and Evans, a distinctly average CB pairing.

PinappleHead has inherited a good side and has the opportunity to build a title winning squad, whilst Fulham need to make the spine of the team stronger if they are going to advance.

Blackburn v Birmingham 1-1
Gyan; Kiessling

You wait for over an hour to see this game on MOTD, but the wait was worth it. Two good sides produced a good match and at the end of the day, they couldn't be separated. Kiessling was generally well marshalled by Distin, but escaped him a few times, one of which led to his debut goal. Brum had slightly the better of the midfield and this gave them more possession, and a great ball from Charlie Adam put Gyan through to beat the keeper.

Aston Villa 2 1 Bolton
VERY HARD TO PICK A WINNER BUT VILLA HAD MORE ABOUT THER ATTACK. BOTLON VERY SKILLFULL ATTACK BUT BIT LIGHT & SMALL NOT MUCH MIX. (FORLAN INJURED BUT NEW MANAGER LIKE ME SO GIVEN CHANCE)
Everton 2 0 Tottenham
METESAKER INJURED. HE TRIED TO PLAY BUT THIS WAS A MISTAKE AS HE COULDN’T KEEP UP WITH EVERTON ATTACKS. IT WAS HIS FAULT FOR BOTH THE GOALS.
Stoke 1 1 Sunderland
I LIKE STOKE TACTICS BUT THEY NEED MORE GOOD PLAYERS AND SUNDERLAND DRAW BECAUSE THEIR TEAM IS BETTER BUT TACTICS NOT AS GOOD.
Blackburn 1 0 Birmingham
BLACKBURN HAVE A BIT MORE CREATIVENESS AN WILLIAN IS GREAT PLAYER. IM SORRY I DONT KNOW A LOT BOUT SUM OF BIRMINGHAM PLAYERS BUT I TREID MY BEST TO HAVE A QUICK LOOK ABOUT THEM.

Aston Villa 1 - 2 Bolton
Clichy, Di Natale & Agbonlahor
Like Afro I’m not sure what De Jong was doing in tactics, more wishful thinking than anything else lol. Bolton had the better tactics and overall a touch more quality.

Everton v Tottenham (My Game)

Fulham 0 – 2 Liverpool
Torres & Gervinho
Coming back to reality here, Liverpool have a much better team than Fulham and not a massive difference in the tactics. Liverpool dominated from start to finish, more quality, more experience. This is not an attack on Fulham, they are slowly building a decent team but Liverpool are one of, if not the best team in this league.

Stoke 0 - 0 Sunderland
A stale mate, the teams cancelled each other out and this was not a classic. Sunderland had one fancy dan midget to many and Stoke are struggling to find where the goals are going to come from at the moment. Viva has done well with the limited resources he has been dealt. Sunderland nearly, very nearly shaded the victory if they just had a little more bite in the team.

Blackburn 3 - 3 Birmingham
Kuyt, Jones, Wellbeck
Nene, Adam, Trezeguet
A barnstormer of a game and neither team deserved to lose. Entertain value 5 stars as both teams went for the win. Nene was MOTM scoring the first and setting up Trezeguet for the late equaliser. However for effort and hardwork you could not fault blackburn today. Out wide they have 2 tireless players who always give maximum effort and never stop running and they worked hard for this point today.

Bolton 0 - 1 Tottenham
Gilardinho

Tottenham had the majority of possession, but Bolton looked very solid and it looked like they would get a well deserved draw. However, Modric and VDV combined well against a tiring Bolton defence to lay it on a plate for Gilardinho.

Bolton 1 - 1 Tottenham
Di Natale, VDV

Di Natale got the ball on the deck and knocked it passed Metersacker to go 1 on 1 and slot home. Bolton tried their best to keep Spurs at bay but VDV scored from a 20yard effort. Decent set of tactics by Bolton well drilled and organised however if Spurs played their usual formation they would have won as Modric would have had the freedom to get the game ticking. As it was I couldn't follow the Spurs tactics, quite of lot of players dragging players into different positions I think it would have left Spurs own players a bit confused. The Formation was a bit strange and a lot of cross field balls. Also VDV was included in tactics and not playing. Spurs don't need to tinker to much to beat the most of teams in this league and this was a tinker to far.

A close game but Tottenham just have the strength and quality to beat Bolton with Modric and VDV dominating in the middle.

Aston Villa 1-0 Bolton
Close game, Agbonlahor and Marin caused a lot of problems with their pace but Villa just had enough.

Everton 1-1 Tottenham
Everton were very strong tactically and got a hard fought point out of the game today.

Stoke 1-1 Sunderland
Didn't think there was much difference between the sides.

Blackburn 1-0 Birmingham
Thought Blackburn were much stronger tactically so were good value for the win.

Bolton 1-3 Tottenham
Bolton tried but couldn't compete with a superb Tottenham display.

Bolton 0-1 Spurs
-------------Gilardinho

Bolton did match Spurs and a very enterataining game, the goal came early from a Gilardinho header. Both teams went forward but the Spurs defence held on. A much needed 3 points for Spurs who are going for the title. A signing here and there from Bolton will put them right up next year.

VIVA VOTING

Sunderland 1-1 Blackburn
Turan-------------Guardado

I game where I feel Blackburn shaded it, not much between the teams. The Blackburn midfield did extremely well against Sunderland and matched them. Adebayor had a poor game which did not help Sunderlands cause.

Birmingham City 0-1 Liverpool
------------------------Gervinho

It was the Ivory Coast hit man who turned this game on it's head, he had the better of Aggerand beat him well. A low strike from a tight angle. Birmingham did press forward but the De Rossi and Felliani partnership worked well.

Fulham 3-1 Spurs
Heskey x2--Gotze
Defoe

Was it really worth doing that? A massive change by the Spurs team which backfired. Fulham on the other hand were playing for thier lifes, and it worked the attacking style of play got them the early 2 goals and they strolled thier way. Gotze was the star of the match and I hope he is given more matches next season. PLayed well but not even Messi can win matches on his own.

Bolton 1-1 Everton
Di Natale--Suarez

Game of the weekend, great end to end stuff. Both teams wanting to finish as high as possible, the goals may have not been as much as we wanted but the quality of the match was brilliant. Everton look like a completely diffrent team, Bolton need a tweak here and there and I am sure they can push much higher next season.

Birmingham 1 - 1 Stoke
Negredo; Quag

Two similarly matched teams, set-up with similar formations. Birmingham had a lot more energy out wide, but Stoke controlled the ball and the game in the middle with Montolivo.

Everton 3 - 1 Liverpool
Gervinho 2, N'Zogbia; Aguero
Biggest mistake was Liverpool playing an injured Capdevila, leaving Gervinho with all the space in the world to run at Gallas. A good game with two oppossing styles and tactics that could have gone either way. Meierles was out of the game as Gerrard was too and Meierles spent too long trying to deal with him, whilst De Rossi completely took Suarez out of the game.. Liverpool lacked defensive discipline on the right, where N'Zogbia had a lot of joy against Srna. Ben Arfa did not help at all and looks out of his depth in this side.

Villa 0 - 2 Blackburn

Villa have a great front 4, but lack quality throughout the rest of the side. The defense needs a lot of work, and it left the forwards without a platform to build on. Blackburn look very solid in the middle and their front 4 just had way too much for the Villa defence.

Tottenham - Sunderland - MY GAME

Bolton 2 - 0 Fulham
Di Natale 2.
Bolton have a very balanced side, whilst Fulham had plenty of possession, but lacked a proper striker to put the finishing touches on any half chances.

Nadeem, he cant take Caps off, its something to do with his work computer.

Birmingham 1 - 1 Stoke
A hard game to decide on a winner. Stoke have vastly improved this season with some good signings.

> Rolfes, Box to Box or defensive? Kalou not really suited for CAM imo
> Does Barton have lots of stamina? Not best playing a 4-2-3-1?

Everton 4 - 1 Liverpool
Sorry to Liverpool but no matter how good the team is, playing with 10 men (Capdevilla suspended) against a team with the quality that Everton had was always going to be tough otherwise i think both teams were pretty well matched.

Bolton v Fulham (MY GAME, Caretaker)
A.Villa v Blackburn (MY GAME)

Birmingham 2-1 Stoke
Nene & Kalou
Quagliarella
Stoke battled hard but up against one of the better sides in the league they eventually came up just short. A good performance however and I expect them to have a decent season.
Aston Villa 0-1 Blackburn
Kuyt
Aston Villa are decent going forward but the defence is not the greatest in this league and that definately cost them today.
Tottenham 0-1 Sunderland (Default win)
Bolton 1-1 Fulham
Hamsik
Rodallega
A much improved Fulham team earned a well deserved draw. The front 3 were lively but lacked direction, they would be better off going with one man leading the attack and the 2 wide players interchanging imo.

Everton 3-0 Liverpool
Bent x2
Gervinho

Playing 90 minutes with 10 men is suicidal and it showed, Liverpool struggled if they had 11 men it would be a closer game.

Sunderland 3-0 Spurs
Adebayor x3

Bolton 0-0 Fulham

A solid Fulham team contained the Bolton team. I feel Fulham need a bit more creativity in midfield to get going.  I expect Bolton to improve throughout the season.

Aston Villa 0-1 Blackburn
-----------------Kuyt

Not much in this game, Blackburn got the early goal and after that it got a bit scrappy.

Birmingham 1 v 2 Stoke
Stoke pick up an away win, dangerous striker plus a good defensive unit in midfield plus I can't find a Birmingham team anywhere.

Everton 1 v 1 Liverpool
From the line ups and tactics hard to seperate these rivals, both in my view are the two best teams in this game on paper.

Aston Villa 1 v 1 Blackburn
Nothing between these two either, Blackburn have a very good midfield, while Villa from out wide and up front look dangerous both defences evenly matched.

Tottenham 0 v 2 Sunderland
No Spurs team so from a Sunderland point of view they win, Adebayor hard to handle and Taiwo is one of the most exciting left-backs in the world and contained Lennon. Fellaini, Parker and Arteta is very creative aswell.

Yo Bear Are you dizzy BLAD?!

both in my view are the two best teams in this game on paper - In ref to Everton and Pool, Are......You...........DIZZY!!!

Tottenham 15.5 - 0 Sunderland
Tottenham are just too sick, being champions too Sunderland just pooed themselves and didnt even leave the dressing room.

Everton 2 - 0 Liverpool
Pleaying injured players does not help. Liverpool got DUN!!

Bolton 1 - 0 Fulham
Fulahm have some good players, lacked direction. Boltons width helped over run Fulham

Birmingham 0 - 1 Stoke
Stoke battled and stole all 3 points in the last minute, a controversial foul allowed Fernandez to dispatch the free kick into the back of the net, BOOOOOOM

Aston Villa 0 - 2 Blackburn
Gyan Pooed all over villas defence.

And what's with the comments about no width!!! Your the second.

Turan and Menez both outwide and told to attack the full backs, Fanni and Taiwo overlapping. It's all there in the tactics.
