England v Wales
First topic message reminder :
Anyone know much about the ticket sales for this game?
I may head down for this, however just took a quick peak for tickets and there is only one block available, and not 2 tickets sat together. It can't be sold out already can it?
Anyone know?

Re: England v Wales
If people saw Cooper in 2011 I think they would start to question doubting him. He is a top talent with the right setup.
He literally changed the reds from a group of nobodies into SR champs and AUS into genuine title contenders for that years RWC. When AUS was set up around him they were very dangerous and still are. However he is very much like Spencer in that he doesn't suit all strategies.

Leaving aside the odd notion that top class place kickers are just standing around waiting to be picked, why would we want someone else to take the kicks?TJ wrote:to me Farrell at 12 is an even worse option. Surely someone else in the england team can take the kicks?
Farrell is an excellent twelve. He has an excellent defence. After all Burrell was taken off so that Farrell could lead the defence not so that Ford could lead the attack.
Farrell can defend, distribute and kick. Perhaps his only weakness at twelve is that he does not make the big breaks however I am not sure that is all that effective in international rugby these days. Just look at Roberts for Wales.

Its a good job Farrell wasn't playing against Wales otherwise the scoreline would have been more than embarrassing.

Look, we all know the result is meaningless, because it wasn't in a 'proper' tournament'.
England wins against Wales only count when there's something at stake apparently.
Like when England beat Wales 63 - 5 it didn't count, but when Wales beat England 30 - 3 it did and apparently, you can dine out on an official result for years. According to Wales, England do it all the time.

Isn't it funny that when there's snide comments being aimed at England from some Wales fans, we get moderator intervention. Funny that when you switch it around, even when it's done by the usual children, there isn't any.

It's not even like Wales are denying that they were crap. Talk about kicking someone when they are down.

Think it's fair to say this thread has ran its course and we're ending up with snide jabs - I'm going to lock it.
