Felt the Clarke James character was always all over the place personally.

Re: 6CW Chat v12
I just think from leaving the Church of Hero, Beer never seemed to know what he actually wanted the character to be. Sometimes he was the noble face, sometimes he was cocky, sometimes he was a comedy guy. I never got it. Obviously it might be that because he was also on creative, he was just using his character to fill holes.

Re: 6CW Chat v12
I think Hero leaving so abruptly and not finishing off the CoH storyline kinda messed both James and Marshal up character wise, it was destined to be the three of them for the title but it never happened and it didn't really work with two of them (even though I enjoyed that feud)

I thought he was a great character post-aborted feud with Hero
I think he was all those elements you mention Crimey, but I read it as he was cocky and funny until something really got under his skin, or something really mattered, then he was game face on and motivational.

Could say the same about Mat. That is why his HOF is so important.

Obviously I wasn't around for the 6WF days really but a list of characters who I wish had stuck around are guys like:
Vincent Costello - goes without saying
Chaos - loved the gimmick and the execution while Greggers was about was awesome
Simon Cagero - I wasn't the biggest fan of the style but I wanted to see where it went, it was a style of promo I'd never seen and still haven't and I would have liked to see how it evolved
Bam Sparkleston - A hero creation and one of the reasons I made Perez...also Hero told me what was planned until he decided to walk away and it was going to be great...obviously there were personal reasons and it sadly never happened.

Afternoon
Since my move into fed running I've learnt to appreciate peoples characters so much more - I used to read shows only caring for the most part what it meant for my guy but now I can see how everyone however small adds to the story which is why I always try to make a conscious effort to ensure there is always something for people to enjoy

Without the characters it's just people imagining hitting each other
Funk could have been hugemongois
Bam Sparkleton needs a WhatCulture video. "How 6CW should have booked Bam Sparkleton" - I'm intrigued now.

Sorry, I'm online but very busy with work.
Two 6CW things I'm going to do this week, one is a Max Adamson promo, the other is some hype for Jackson Jackson who will be making his 6CW debut the Aftermath after Night of Glory, the equivalent of the Raw after Wrestlemania...

I'm wouldnt be surprised, but would imagine it might be done like the three beat the two then Wood/Joshua come down post match and it's them two beating Dicey/Reborn

I don't think so. I reckon the opposite. No one helps to highlight how alone Jones is now.

He must have something up his sleeve even if it's just for one more night!

I reckon this next show will be his last stand before Reborn/Dicey win the titles at NOG

That's one of the reasons I still think the main events aren't set. Posters and other things obviously say no!
Jones main antagonisers for the last few months have been Dicey and Kramer. Kramer needs to reveal who he was talking to and Jones will want to make an example to Dicey.
Still think that will mean the return of a Xtreme match but in that scenario Jones would want Joshua not Wood - who is more pro himself than pro Jones.
I really do think something will change.

Re: 6CW Chat v12
What's a vignette promo? If it is just an 2on their own monologue", most of Joshua's are that.
Is there something different to them? An American style voiceover?
"Coming this July..........Scenes you will not see again. Joshua is........The Reborn Killer"

One I remember fondly was Harris v Masters. I think Paul wrote that. Was a segment though not a promo.

This is from Ground Zero 2013...
xviperx wrote:Our scene opens with black and white footage of EWF Day Of Reckoning, we see the footage of EWF World Champion The Viper Liam Wood claiming the title in the War Games cage, tears roll down his face as he holds the World and TV Titles, he drops to his knees as team EWF rejoice about saving the company, the footage continues to play but begins to turn to static and distorts, as it turns to static other colour footage can be seen but it quickly turns back to the Day Of Reckoning footage, this time the moment of Michael Conrad turning his back on The Fear Project, hitting Enforcer with the Dust Buster. Once again the footage flickers, this time in the static the face of Vincent Costello can be seen, he lets out a sick laugh, it then turns to footage of the Fear Campaign taking him out.
The static continues until the 6CW logo appears on a black screen and 27 Club - Letlive begins to play quietly in the background, we go back to the black and white footage of Liam Wood with the belt. It moves in slow motion as the audio of that night plays over the top.The footage plays and gets slower and slower until it stops, it begins to shake and distort more than before, the footage stretches as the laughter of Enforcer and Costello begins to be heard...suddenly silence.JK: WORLD EATER!
DF: YES…..YES…..YES!
Crowd: ONE...TWO…THREE!
JK: OH HELL YES….
DF: HE DID IT…..THEY DID IT……WE WON!
Ding ding ding
JK: Extraordinary scenes here inside the Elite Coliseum….
Rick Ambrose: Ladies and gentlemen here is your winner…representing Team EWF…and the NEW EWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION…THE VIPER…LIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMM WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!
DF: WHAT A MATCH…..WHAT A NIGHT….WHAT AN HISTORIC MOMENT….
JK: TAKE A BOW TEAM EWF…..LIAM WOOD YOU ARE THE NEW WORLD CHAMPION…OH MY GOD WHAT A MOMENT THIS IS….
The crowd are in utter pandemonium as “666” blasts out of the speakers and Liam Wood is knelt over the blood-stained body of Enforcer. The War Games cell is beginning to lift back into the rafters as the referee walks over to Wood with the TV Championship and his newly won EWF World Championship….
DF: Liam Wood is the sole survivor….he is a double champion….he is the man….
Voice Over: Sometimes dreams can become nightmares
The music kicks back in and the images flicker between Viper giving up his TV Title, Viper being attacked by the Soldiers Of Authority and Viper being forced to fight with Nate Nack and best friend Thunder...it shows the countless attacks by Enforcer and Costello.
Voice Over: When the odds are stacked...do you give in? Do you fight? Do you live...or do you die?
Footage of Viper being supported by Thunder and Emmy begins to play along with footage of him and Nate Nack working together, it then shows Viper beating the team of Enforcer and Tyler Roth. It then cuts to footage of Viper with the mic in the centre of the 6CW ring, the Copper Box arena stood on their feet for him.
Viper: My name is The Viper Liam Wood, I am YOUR EWF Champion...I am the hottest property in this business today...I am the man they wanted...I am the man who said no...I am the man who won't sell his soul to the devil!
Images of Drake Callihan and Mr Jones sat at a large desk with Kelsey stood behind them plays over the audio, the footage distorts and goes back to Viper.
Viper: Believe me when I say, I am a man with nothing to lose, they all think that this title is already lost, they all think I can't do it...so wether I keep MY title or not...I go out like a champion...The Authority are about to see how dangerous a man without fear truly is...I'll take their handpicked henchmen and drag them to a place far worse than hell.
Voice Over: Sometimes evil conquers good...sometimes the darkness takes over the light...
The footage changes to Vincent Costello holding the EWF title during his reign before changing to Enforcer sat in a large throne, Mr Jones and Drake Calihan stand beside him, the video ends with Liam Wood stood in darkness, his features lit up by a bright light, he stares in to the camera as the voice over continues.
Voice Over: Sometimes...you can't wake up from a nightmare...
The scene fades to black.

Also about a year ago my wee one really wanted a Loki lego figure as he didn't have any bad guys, so i saw a small pak when in sainsburys. Took thenfihurenout and buold and pretended inmagiced it for him.
Worst decision ever as the next day he asked if i could magic an abomination lego figure. So i told him my magic powers needed to recharge, a year later he asks me every couple of weeks if my magic powers are back yet.
I have to keep telling him not yet, not because i am tight, but they don't do an abomination lego figure. This charade could be going on till he is 12 at this rate
