SURREY VS GLAMORGAN/ESSEX EAGLES NATWEST T20 BLAST

SURREY HAVE NAMED A THIRTEEN MAN SQUAD FOR THE NATWEST T20 BLAST GAMES AGAINST GLAMORGAN IN CARDIFF ON FRIDAY AND THE ESSEX EAGLES AT THE KIA OVAL ON SATURDAY.
Jason Roy is unavailable for selection because he is currently playing for England in the One Day International Series against Sri Lanka. Dominic Sibley is still not available for selection due to a lower back muscle strain.
The treatment table remains full  
There is no place in the squad for Anesh Kapil this time.
The Surrey squad to play Glamorgan at the Swalec Stadium on Friday 24th June and the Essex Eagles at the Kia Oval  on Saturday 25th June in the NatWest T20 Blast:

10 of the side picks itself so i'd go for Burke to make up the eleven  wilson is in poor form and meaks can't bat

Agree with you on the definite 10 and also about Meaks being on the bench. If we regard Wilson as a better batsman than Burke (I appreciate some don't! ), then we should probably play the Irishman. We've got 6 bowlers already.

My guess would be Burns to open with Davies although you shouldn't rule out a Curran for anything!

It would normally be an utterly ridiculous decision to open with Wilson in a t20 but even more so tonight given his current lack of form. Seemed to set the standard for the whole game. Terrible.

Tbf it's not like Glamorgan have a good opening bowl....oh no wait a minute they have Dale Steyn

daft not to open with TC decision now to drop wilson for burke or push him down the order

other point i won't be too sad to see bravo go to the cpl he has done nothing with the bat or not much with the ball

May struggle to reach 100 at this rate. It's raining south of London - maybe that will come to the rescue.. 

68-5 after 14. Their 18 year old leggy has 2-10 off 4 overs. Just when you thought Surrey couldn't get any worse.

Wilson opening and Foakes in at 9 - Di Venuto must be smoking some of those funny cigarettes

Their leg-spinner open and takes 2-11 in his 4 overs; we've used 4 bowlers so far and no sign of a spinner. All very odd.

Why has Sam Curran bowled only one over? (He only went for a run!)

Utter madness out there today

Tow games in two days -defeats by 9 and 8 wickets. Need a change in selection, batting order and captain.
