Parker's latest fight

Well I've been waiting for comments about Parker's latest win midweek against Solomon Haumono in Christchurch New Zealand,but as none were forthcoming I thought I'd put my two penneth in.While the finish was a nice clean uppercut what came before was pretty mediocre.He still carries his left hand too low and doesn't seem to have worked on improving his defence at all.I'm afraid that if or when he faces Joshua Wilder or Fury his unbeaten record will be no more.Anyone else who saw the fight let me know what they think.

I personally don't think Parker is anything special at all, will come undone when he steps up levels

Rumours abound that he's fighting Dimitrenko in November. Would hope that he gets leveled as the "hype" surrounding this chump is ridiculous. Would rather watch Sonny Bill Williams FFS

Nobody (incl. me) is saying AJ is infallible. He has flaws and hasn't been sufficiently test. But some idiots (you) are seeing something with Parker that nobody else with their head screwed on is. Parker has fought one ranked oppo and struggled, he was tagged repeatedly and spent half the (slow moving) fight blowing out his backside.

AJ has not been tested sufficiently either, but he's fought fighters as good or close to as good as Parker/Paker has and bar a brief wobble once has blown away everyone.

More importantly, versus a fit heavy hitter, Parker hasn't shown any improvement in his defence or his conditioning, or his desire to do so. I suspect he's happy to keep knocking over antipodean nobodies and collect cash from delusional jingoistic hometown support.

I don't think that I have seen anything in Parker that would trouble any of the champs at all. 

There's a mountain of hype surrounding him.

The couple of fights I have seen Parker in he looks like a decent prospect. Pretty raw and loose but the same was said for Wilder and Fury not long ago (still is actually) and they are now sitting top of the pile. Not sure why all the hate for the guy. His fight with Takam was good and he showed a lot of guts to get through it. Takam is better than anyone Joshua has beaten and you got to see it without having to pay PPV. He is mandatory for Joshua and Joshua needs to start fighting guys who come to fight. I would fancy Joshua to win but it would good fight for him.
