Re: 2016-17 SPFL Season
Do you think Rodger's reputation and experience has allowed Celtic to buy a slightly better quality of player this season? I can't help but think that Sinclair and Toure have both moved because of Rodgers.

Crimey wrote:Do you think Rodger's reputation and experience has allowed Celtic to buy a slightly better quality of player this season? I can't help but think that Sinclair and Toure have both moved because of Rodgers.
Yes absolutely, it's been frustrating as hell as a Celtic fan for the last 3 years due to the clubs moneyball strategy, they got completely lost and it didn't look like we'd get back to a genuinely competitive standard unless something big and unexpected happened.
Rodgers is a big name for Scottish Football and there's no doubt his presence and profile down south has allowed us to attract a quality of player that would've been otherwise more difficult without him.

Sinclair's a decent signing, had a good start.
Would have liked to seen him stay at Villa.
Don't blame him for leaving.

He looks a breath of fresh air, so pacey, I think he could've been a real asset for Villa in the Championship this season but I think Rodgers will put a rocket under him and watch him explode, it's got the making of an exciting season

Re: 2016-17 SPFL Season
Scott Browns post match comments:
'Easy, it was fine, it wasn't a problem,' he said on Sky Sports 2 when asked about his battle with Barton. 'There was no battling whatsoever.'
Asked who came out on top in their duel, he said: 'I think the scoreline talks for itself. It was pretty much men versus boys at the end of the day.'
Brown and Barton appeared to exchange words after the second Celtic goal.
'Just made sure he was all right,' Brown said.
Wonderful stuff, there. Ownership complete.
